I had cataract surgery in both eyes recently and I still don't see very well. I see close up but distance is a little difficult. I was having trouble seeing the TV clearly across the room and my eye doctor told me about distance glasses. I always knew about readers that you see in the drug stores, but I had never heard of distance glasses. I wasn't sure what to get but I ordered -2 diopters and when they arrived I put them on and WOW! Everything was sharp and clear. It's a little bit of a pain when I want to look at my phone to do something and then look at the at the TV. I have to take the glasses on and off but it's so worth it to see clearly. They are comfy, the script is great and they are overall just a great fit. Because of the price you do not have to be ultra worried if you lose them or break them. I lost my glasses during a vacation trip on the first day, a 20-hour road trip away from home. It took two days or less to ship to my hotel/resort and I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation worry free! I am very thankful I am able to spend less than $20 and get it through amazon quickly. I called every optometrist and everyone quoted a one-week minimum, don't even get me started with the cost of urgently made glasses. I was able to drive 20 hours back home completely fine and headache free. I ordered -1.5 prescriptions even though my eye is -1.5 on one side and -1.25 on the other, it was a near-perfect fit for me.
