I've worn glasses from Amazon for several years now. It's one of the greatest values there is. Of course my eyes aren't exactly the same, but that doesn't matter; these work for me. They allow me to see very clearly and the fit is snug, which is great. I ordered a bit too strong so I ordered the next power up from where I was, and they are amazing. So clear. I can still use the higher powered one for something like driving (at night). I hope to get cataract surgery, but these glasses are definitely my daily bread; I couldn't get along without them. I'm thrilled with my order from today because with one power difference, now I can see better than I have in at least a year. It makes all the difference in the world. These glasses are well made and you can't beat the price. This particular brand was the one that had high strengths; some of them don't have powers this strong, so I couldn't order them. I just had cataract surgery and my ophthamologist recommended I purchase myopia glasses from Amazon. Who knew? I thought only reading glasses were available non-Rx. These aren't the exact Rx I will need, but for the next month, until I can be retested, these are doing a very good job for my distance vision (I had lenses placed to improve my near vision as I am an artist).     • UPDATE: Worked well BUT lenses kept popping out cause frame cracked badly.

My husband was very happy with these. They definitely helped his vision. UPDATE: frame cracked quickly with normal use. My husband is careful with his things... frame cracked for no good reason so lenses wouldn't stay in. Didn’t last a month! Sad!

Fine, not great but they work. Don't scratch too easy, which is supreme importance to me. Main complaint is the frame, which is slightly uncomfortable after wearing over 12 hours, and one arm is quite loose after 1 week of use. Screws are pot metal, can't loosen or tighten without stripping the heads, so the loose arm is just going to be like that. Doesn't affect fitment so I can't really trash the product. Lens measurements were accurate, don't hurt my eyes or give me a headache. If you need a working pair you don't care about breaking or losing, or a backup, these are just fine. ... show more

I got these because I had a very weak prescription (-0.5) and didn't want to pay a ton of money on the fancy ones from optical stores if it wasn't going to help much. Imagine my surprise when it made my vision almost ten times better. It feels so ridiculous to have such a small prescription but it really helps. I like this frame because I have a wider face and these don't squeeze my face much. I also have a floral frame that I've ordered. The lenses don't have all the fancy features that the expensive ones do, but they work for me and haven't had any issues with the lenses or frames. I work as a first responder so having something that works, holds up, and doesn't cost a lot is important. Will definitely buy again if these break. ... show more

Lens are ok and unlike others these don’t disturb the field of view. I would give them a solid 4 stars but they don’t get dark enough for serious sun “on your face driving.”

    • These are great distance vision glasses for nearsighted people

What I love most about these glasses is that for those that don't want to spend $100 on a pair of glasses they're perfect just have as a backup if you lose your glasses or don't have your contact lenses in. If you're nearsighted, it's awful if you can't find your glasses and you can't see a thing. I highly recommend keeping these as a backup. You never know when you're going to need them. I also get a 1 and wear them over my regular glasses to bump up my night vision for driving! That's just what I do, but you have to make your own decision whether you think that that would be good for you. They're NOT reading glasses! They help you see objects further away. ... show more
