I've used this scent for years, and it is wonderful. I also used Dior's Miss Dior, Candy by Prada, and Delicate by Narcisso Rodriguez recently. I mention this just so you can get an idea of what kind of scent appeals to me, not because I am here to give you detail account of my personal preferences. This is a very delicate, feminine, sensual scent. It does not overpower, and it is very wearable - from the office to the date with your significant other. I got more compliments about this perfume than any other one I have had, so that tells you something. Men and women like it equally, and even my friends who are sensitive to fragrance have spoken favorably about it. If there was any downside it would be that you have to order it online, however, that may be a plus side too, since your friends won't have it. :) I have not seen it in any local stores. Word of advice: everyone has different chemistry, so the same scent will smell very differently on different people. I would tell you to go to Nordstrom and get a sample first, but they don't carry Boss fragrances. If this is your first time buying it, I would go for a smaller size to test it. I find it lovely, but scents are such a personal thing and tastes also change overtime.. So you have to decide for yourself. ... show more

I have been wearing this fragrance off and on for at least 8 years. It isn't easy to find in stores, so I am happy that Amazon carries it. I never let myself run out of Femme. The bottle itself is rounded and compact and easy to travel with. In fact, I frequently throw a bottle in my purse and it has never broken. I am not a fan of flowery or sweet fragrances, but I also can't wear heavy, musky, sultry scents. Femme is a crisp, clean, feminine parfum that can be worn year round. The fragrance is not overwhelming, but lingers for hours. The scent is very concentrated, so only a few spritzes will carry me through the day. I get so many compliments from strangers on it and even after all these years, my significant other compliments me each and every time I spritz it on! For comparison, I also frequently wear original Chanel Allure (sweeter scent) Gucci Bamboo and Gucci Guilty (muskier scent) and I would say this is most like the Bamboo. ... show more

I bought this perfume for my wife for a Christmas present and she absolutely loves it. I was worried that she may not like the smell, as it was listed for a more mature audience, but she fell in love almost as soon as she opened it and sprayed it on. The scent is rather floral and fresh smelling, but it definitely does not remind one of a young person's perfume. There is no over-the-top flower smells that inundate the wearer and smeller, and there is no wild after scent that leaves headaches or misery. The perfume just seems to have that all-inclusive smell that brings you in and makes you love it. I would actually recommend this perfume to women of all ages. It may not be what some younger ladies are looking for with its more mature scent, but it definitely will not make you think you are wearing your grandmother's good-smelling nectar water. Bought this for Mother’s Day and she loved the scent! Although it was a bit harsh for me personally, I think it would be great for people who aren’t as sensitive to the smell. Great packaging too, esp for special occasions
