I ordered these boots to wear on a trip to Alaska. Great purchase! They were VERY comfortable and accomplished the need to be water proof and warm. I walked many miles in them and never had any problem with my feet hurting. Definitely recommend them!

Just received these boots and have been walking around the house in them for over an hour. I ordered the "red" which is NOT RED. Some reviewers said the "red" was a true red, others said it was not. The boots I received are exactly as pictured on my display. They are deep and bright wine color. That said, I don't mind the color, so I am keeping them, although I was kinda hoping for a true red. Anyway, now that that is out of the way, I can't speak to waterproof yet but they do seem well-sealed where the rubber bottom/side meets the wine-colored fabric. I don't think putting my foot in a deep puddle or even deep snow would keep my feet dry, but for walking around on some wet/slushy snow covered walkways, etc, which is what I wanted them for, they seem like they will do the trick. They are fully lined and comfortable. A biggie for me is that the fur insole is removable. A good thing because they have no arch support. I put comfortable arch support insoles in them and put the fur insole that came with the shoe on top of that. All good now! One other comment, I typically take a size 10 in sneakers and boots. Sometimes a 10 is too big, but not usually. After reading the reviews I went with a size 9. They fit just okay. One foot always being a bit longer than the other, that longer foot's big toe rubs every so slightly. It did so even before I put another insole inside. The boot on that foot is just a tad bit too short, but not overly. I am hoping once the fur lining flattens out some and perhaps the material will stretch a little they will be perfect. A 10, I am sure would be too big. (the reason I took a star away...1/2 sizes would be awesome). If you need the boot asap, I would consider ordering down a size, or better yet, order 2 sizes and return the one that doesn't fit well. ... show more

I take the dog out first thing in the morning and am far too bleary-eyed and irritable to deal with lacing up boots in the dark, so I bought these almost exclusively for the zipper. They're lightweight, and I didn't expect them to actually keep my feet warm, but they've been amazing little boots. In snow and single-digit temps I slog outside, half the time not even bothering to zip them up, but they still keep my feet warm and dry. The sizing is accurate. Super comfortable boot but they run small. Order one full size up. Lightweight to wear, warm but they don't make my feet sweat. So far water repellent. I use them for getting around in the winter. Love them!! I don't use them when needing to shovel from a storm because they aren't tall but they do rise past my ankles so they are perfect for errand running in the winter. Great boot. I got these to be quick shoes I can slip on for dog walls in the snow and rain. They were great at first, kept my feet dry and warm. Really comfortable and super soft. I put them on the other day and went out and my feet were soaked after 10 minutes of walking in the snow. These were delayed in delivery so I couldn't use them on my trip when lots of rain was expected, but fortunately the forecast was wrong and never needed these. Still waiting for some rain or snow to try them out for water resistance and hopefully they will be waterproof. I wear an 8.5 but ordered a size 9 and they are just right! These are to replace another similar pair I have used for almost 2-1/2 winters. I think they may have a slight leak in them now. I like these even better as the ankle is higher, has a thicker faux fur linning with a sturdier feel to them and a much better, thicker tread than the other pair doesn't so these should be better in deeper snow. I have PF and I need a wide toebox - so if you're buying these as a fashion statement, keep looking, but I am able to comfortably slide my orthotics into them (thx to reviewers who suggested buying slightly above your usual size). Some complained about the difficulty of zipping. It's not terrible, but if your hands are arthritic, it's a little tough. Perhaps that will improve over time. They are comfortable and warm and tho I haven't walked thru puddles with them, they seem to be leak resistant. I wish the tops were a bit tighter to my leg, but I would definitely recommend and am happy with the purchase - and the price! ... show more
