This item meets my requirements and appears to be of quality for the price. It is as strong as more expensive cases I own such as Pelican. No need to pay more for a name, when protecting an expensive rifle is the goal here. This case will for sure do that. It closes good, does not flex too much and looks to fit the bill. Only negative was it came poorly packaged and I could see how these could be easily damaged in shipment. But it came without a scratch. Bought this to mount up on a roof rack on the cab of my Tacoma. Certainly seems well built enough for the shovel and tools that I want handy, but don't want rattling around in the truck. The wheels are attached with little spring clips, making them easy to remove. I wish they had done the same with the handles, but no worry, I'll drill them out. The latches actually feel more secure than the one from Harbor Freight that sells for more. Zero idea how it will work for a gun. ... show more

This looks to be a great case. It feels solid, opens and closes easily, and it’s a great size. My only initial complaint is that while it’s intended to be water and airtight, the short sides clearly don’t form an airtight seal (squeezing the top a little, you can hear air escape in those locations). While I just received this today, it seems very well made and sturdy. The foam is dense and the molded plastic is thick. Moreover it is exactly the size that I had hoped for. I am pleased with my purchase.

Love these cases! Solid build for sure. Slight issue with the shipping but seller came through quickly without issues. Some people seem to have a problem with the small gap when they are shut. Doesn't bother me at all. It does that because of the rubber seal. The latches (4 of them) that keep the case shut are good quality. The foam inside is made of little squares about 1/2" wide so you can customize the layout of the items you choose to put in there.
