  • A behemoth worthy of business, perfect for home
The media could not be loaded. I was honestly a bit doubtful of how the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 all-in-one was going to stack up to the LaserJet I've been using for the last few years. The price point is surprisingly affordable in a field of many printers that claim to offer huge quality at a reasonable price. When I received the printer I was immediately worried that it was going to be way too big to fit into my designated printer space in my home office. Upon opening, I was pleasantly surprised at the set up and how compact it really is for such an extensive machine. Upon unboxing, I followed the set up guide and it was a breeze. Anyone with basic knowledge of a computer could have this set up and put to work in 20 minutes. The bulk of my printing falls into 2 categories- school work and crafting. For school work, a simple color printer gets the job done for producing nice documents and occasional image printing. For crafting, I need a higher quality image, accurate CMYK/color matching, and a high dpi for crisp output. I also require that it can handle sublimation ink for my heat transfer crafts. Well, folks, I am here to tell you that the OfficeJet Pro 9025 delivers all of that and more. After a quick set up and connecting to my computer wirelessly, I did a couple of test prints (see pictures). The color match was spot on. The images were crisp and clear, giving me a photo that was frame-worthy. I would feel as confident printing my personal pictures and crafting images as I would mass printing professional looking flyers for work. I also need to not that the printer is not loud. That's a small peeve, but something that will make me write off a printer. I dont want to hear the screeches or beeps, feel my desk shake as it prints, etc. This printer is quiet, fast, and really performs. Another plus is that it is InstantInk ready. Who hasn't gone to print and realized their cartridge is at the end of its lifespan?! This printer will communicate with InstantInk and based on your chosen subscription, will order your refills as needed! Don't forget that aside from printing, this is a scanner, copier, and fax. It maintains image integrity and produces a fantastic duplication of your documents via copy and scan. There isn't really an area of expertise that this printer doesn't hit the ball out of the park. This is a solid 10/10, highly recommend. It is a behemoth worthy of business use that is just as great for home office use. The price is on point and the quality far exceeds expectations! ... show more

  • Easy to Use Scans-Setup and great printing
I liked the Epson printer initially better due to its refillable ink bottles. After I purchased it, however, I found the print not as clean and defined as I am used to seeing. Additionally, the setup for scans was both complex and difficult. I returned it to Best Buy and purchased this HP 9025 printer. It was a breeze to set up and pair with my computer. Since I could save all my scans to an external memory stick it was both straightforward and easy to access. The printing is clear, clean, and colors vibrant. As part of the sale, they gave me 3 free months of unlimited ink refills as needed. I like this even better than pouring bottles into the individual ink chambers (of the Canon inkjet model) For this price point and if the HP 9025 printer keeps working at this level for at least two years, it was a great purchase that I highly recommend! ... show more

  • Crisp, clear printouts after an easy installation
When I bought my previous printer, I determined that the next one I got would have two paper trays, so I could have regular paper in one and three-hole paper in the other (handy for putting things in binders). This one has that feature, and its application is the one flaw I've found: the print job cannot tell the printer which paper tray is to be used. Instead, that has to be done manually, either from the printer's touchscreen or using the HP Smart app. This is a moderate inconvenience that hopefully can be fixed in some future firmware upgrade. (It's also the only thing that kept me from giving the printer five stars!) In all other ways the 9025 has been exemplary so far. The touchscreen controls are among the easiest I've ever encountered. It fits very nicely on my printer stand. The installation with Alexa was practically seamless. The output tray doesn't stick out very far, so I can leave it extended without having to worry about hitting it when I walk by. And, like my headline says, the printing is crisp and clear, not much unlike what I've seen in professionally printed books. As of this writing I haven't done any scans or copies (I probably won't ever use the fax). If they're anything like what I've had in the past from HP, though, these should be of good quality as well. (I'll post an edit if I get any surprises, good or bad.) ... show more

  • Easy setup, easy to use, no problems
In the first 2 months I've used this printer it has been the best HP product I have ever owned, this is my 3rd so far. Everything has been easy, printing from my desktop and phone. Instant Ink cartridges were sent within 2 weeks & I still haven't needed to replace them, although I'm getting close. I received 4 free months on Instant Ink, which gives me plenty of time to figure out how many pages I'll be printing per month, 127 & 268 per month so far in my small business office. The dual paper trays were important for me so I wouldn't have to keep changing paper; I use three different types. The only slight drawback is the scan function, which is not quite as robust as my 'ancient' 13 year old HP that is 'still going strong'. I figured this would happen so have my old printer hooked up to do special document scans, directly into RTF (Rich Text Format) which I can easily convert to Word docs. The 9020 does basic photo and PDF scans. Two features I have not used yet are printing photos and faxing; but so far, I HIGHLY recommend the HP OfficeJet Pro 9020. ... show more
