It works like a charm, I mainly use it to scan but when I first started to print it worked well. Right now, the printing is not great. I'll try to see if changing the ink cartridges fixes the issue.

Itis a bit tircky to get printer to be shared on network and I sometime have to unplug it and restart for it to allow it to be recognized via network. I would caution users to print on one side only unless really necessary. It has the capability to print two-sides, but jamming is much more likely of you use that. The ink cartriges that came with it ran out well below expected. I printed only about 60 pages (not full pages) and had to buy replacement cartridges in a hurry. I expect 3rd part vendor cartridges (XL) wolll last longer than the XL supplied by HP with the printer. This printer cannor be connected with a cable (ethernet). there is a tape over the slot. The printer is not easy to set up, took me 4 or 5 rounds before it did what it was supposed to do, shuts off and displays an error message after each time I print. Will not load to one of my devices. I used amazon help who said they would discuss with the seller and most like issue a new one but I never heard back, so I returned and re-ordered the same thing thinking maybe it was just a faulty printer but the new printer acts just as poorly. I think I started out with HP computers and printers, and now after many problems with other brands, I find myself once the proud owner/operator of a genuine HP Deskjet printer. It was so easy to install and operate after others I have tried that I chirped with joy. And it is one of the few that came with a genuine UPC cord, since not everyone can go the wireless route unless you have a wi-fi connection or computer that can connect directly by pronged plug cord. In fact, I have encountered many of my friends and neighbors who are upset about the number of printers that don't include UPC cord connection any longer. (By the way, I've had better luck with the HP computer I bought five years ago than any computer I owned earlier. I'm not really brand-conscious; I just like what really works for me.) ... show more

Overall it does what I want, but in the first day of use I discovered two issues. The first one really ticked me off. That is that the printer cartridges supplied with the printer straight out of the box only contain a bare minimal amount of ink and half way through a printing job the black cartridge ran out of ink. I did about 30 pages and then a page or two of low ink print quality and then nothing. The second issue that I did not realize while reading the product description is that if you have a double-sided page, it is cumbersome to print both sides as a double-sided copy. You have to print one side first, then take that copy and reverse it properly in the paper feeded and then reverse the original in the copy feeder tray and then print it and hope that you get it all correct. That takes awhile to figure out how to line every thing up properly. Haven't used the fax, scan, wi-fi or blue tooth features yet. I returned it. The second one doesn't work any better. I think that it is just not very compatable with a computer that still uses Windows 7. I also don't like using smart phones ... show more

REPLACED MY 8 YEAR OLD PRINTER AND IT KEPT LOSING THE DRIVER. IT PRINTED OK ALSO BUT THIS ONE AS SOON AS I CLICK PRINT ITS ROLLING THE PRINT ON WIFI. PRINTS ARE BETTER ALSO SO LOOKS GREAT ALREADY. GREAT PRICE AND INKS ARE BELOW WHAT I WAS PAYING FOR MY OLDER ONE AND I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR 6 MONTHS FREE INK, NOT A FAN OF ANYONE WATCHING WHAT I PRINT IF THATS HOW I SEE IT DESCRIBED IN OTHER REVIEWS.
