Note: of the storage in the description, "576GB Storage" or "1TB Storage", 512GB does not come in the package and has to be requested after delivery and then shipped to you. for the "576GB Storage" the actual internal SSD drive is about 70GB. This is too small for all but the most simple usage of a Windows 11 computer. It is enough for O365 and browsing, but could not function for a college student in a Computer Science or Art or Engineering student (no room to load additional software). However, for 80%? of college students this will probably work and be an excellent choice for the price. Hope this helps. Note: Also, the O365 one year license is not included in the package and has to be requested, then an email received, then O365 license applied. **One-Star Review** I deeply regret purchasing this laptop from Oydisen WOWPC. The device was advertised as having 576GB of storage, but when I turned it on, it only had 57.2GB—completely misrepresented. To "fix" the issue, they sent me an external hard drive, which was defective from the start. It showed storage dates from 1899 (completely bizarre!) and broke shortly after, with the connector failing entirely. The laptop itself is unbearably slow, constantly running out of space, and useless for completing tasks efficiently. To make matters worse, Oydisen WOWPC has stopped responding to my messages entirely, leaving me with a defective product and no resolution. I now have to purchase another device, effectively wasting my money on this brick. The lack of customer service and the poor quality of their products are unacceptable. The person that wrote one of the bad reviews lied about a lot of things. First of all this is a basic laptop designed for college students type. I love mine, you get the option to decide if you want more ram or more HD space etc so I picked out one that would fufill my need. I love the battery life. I first bought another laptop on here and it was terrible and luckily i got credit and i went with this one. The only thing I do not light is that I wish it was easier to see the keys in darker lighting. I deleted the pre installed apps I didnt need so i dont know why the person is whining about it when all he had to do is take 5 minutes to customize it to how you want it. I recommend it for your kids college days. its enxepenive but do get one with the more ram and more space. And the bonus of the external drive is really neat. you can use it put back up material in case your hard drive ever crashed. ... show more

DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP!!!! after spending hours trying to figure out why, after only owning this for 6 months, I had next to ZERO storage space on it, HP customer service informed me that the specifications and storage amount DOES NOT MATCH WHAT THE LAPTOP HAS on it. In other words, it has been altered or tampered with on the manufacturers part prior to even coming to me. I purchased this NEW in the box. It is supposed to have 576 BG of storage, but instead it has only 60 GB!!!!!!!!! I have wasted hours of my time trying to figure all this out. HP wont help me anymore, even though it should be under warranty still, because they say is has been altered and does not match the serial number specifications for the product!!! Pros: It is a laptop that will connect to the internet Comes with a one year Microsoft subscription Lightweight Battery life is as advertised Cons: Does not have HMDI or Display port connections to plug into an external monitor for multi screen display, this would be okay (since that was not listed as a feature) except that the USB-C port also does not work with HP dock. I specifically bought the laptop because it was HP & I had an HP dock with a USB-C plug for my monitors & the dongles for my wireless accessories. Thankfully my tech savvy husband (who wants it known that he told me not to buy this) had a couple of adapters that we were able to piggyback together to get it to work. That said, the monitor to computer adapter situation most closely resembles the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation holiday light wiring and clutters my desk much more than a normal docking station. The external hard drive is old technology (HDD vs SDD) and is a non name brand device that only further serves to clutter the desk space. Computer is slower than I expected for 16GB of ram, trying to play Pandora while flipping through a slide show to study makes for buffering issues & slow load speeds. Conclusion: It was only worth it because it was $300 and I'm in school while tending to my infant. At least when she inevitably kills this machine, it won't be a catastrophe. If I can use it for a year until I'm done with school and working, I will consider that I've more than gotten my money's worth and retire it in favor of something faster and smarter. ... show more

I purchased this laptop for my daughter for school. It has given us trouble since day 1. It’s super slow and was advertised as having more storage than it actually has. They compensate this by having you send off for an external storage drive. To me this is false advertising. After 3 months the battery will not charge and I can’t even turn it on. When I contacted them for a refund they want me to send them the laptop so they can “fix” it. Now I am scared to send it because I don’t trust this company. My daughter has now been out a laptop for 2 months with me going back and forth with them. I would No recommend. ... show more
