  • Great quality/easy for kids to understand
I bought this for my daughter who is seriously struggling with the loss of her grandpa, her main male figure in her 15 years of life. I read through it before I gave it to her, and I love it. Hopefully, she is writing in it and putting her feeling, grief, memories, etc in writing as I first hand know this really helps to get the thoughts out of your head and will help her remember how she is feeling at any given moment without reliving the pain or saddness or happiness etc......all day, every waking moment. I wont invade her teenage privacy by checking on it and reading it, I just really hope she is utilizing it! VERY HAPPY! A++ ... show more

  • Helpful for my 11 year old
My sister recently died and my 11 year-old has been having such a hard time processing and expressing her feelings. I purchased several different types of books/journals for grieving children. I got this journal to be just for her so that she feels safe to write what she's feeling. Before she started I looked through the book. What I like is that not every prompt is directly about the loss and grieving. This seems helpful to get thoughts and feelings flowing and comfortable to start exploring and writing about them. She's liking it and sits for a while writing in it. So it's definitely worth the purchase ❤️ ... show more

  • Bought for my 9 year old
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter. We recently lost my grandpa and she is having a really hard time. She hasn’t used it yet since I wanted to look thru it and I really think this will help.

  • Well-appreciated gift
I bought this to give to a 10 year old who had recently lost her mother. Her grandmother said the child “loves it.” She writes in it daily with the colored pens I included and grandmother says the child feels like it really helps her to know how to talk about her feelings.

  • Thoughtful gift
Bought this to give to my niece (10yr) on the first anniversary of her dad's untimely passing. I flipped through it beforehand and felt confident that she would find at least some comfort in it's pages. She smiled when I gave it to her and was really checking it out, so I think she was excited to receive and use it ... show more

  • Bought for a 10year old boy
I bought this for my friends son after he suddenly lost his grandpa in a motorcycle accident. She texted me a few days later saying that her son had used the book and came in to talk to she and her husband for about an hour about it after. It was a great tool’

  • Wonderful
Purchased for my grandkids, ages 9 and 11, to use after the sudden loss of their dad. 11 yr old granddaughter more into it than grandson but it's really been helpful.

  • Fabulous journal for kids experiencing grief or loss
This simple and easy to follow journal is broken down in to 3 parts. Exploring feelings, creating comfort and finding peace. The book offers step by step prompts to use as a guideline to discuss how a grieving child may be feeling. The second part is creating comfort. The child builds a toolbox of things that help during difficult times. Lastly and most importantly is bringing on peace when needed. This journal is phenomenal and I highly recommend this tool to help children process their feelings after a loss. ... show more
