This is a great plumbing fixture for shorter people! Now I can reach my handheld shower head. The installation took 10 minutes, so easy. (I did use plumbers tape on the threads where it connects to the riser pipe). I highly recommend this shower arm. Bonus: great price!

I thought this would have the shower head with it as the photos show but I guess I should have read a little better. Besides the shower head not coming with it it’s very nice material and heavy duty, hoping it fits well. Very stable when tightened and easily adjustable! Not sure on the water flow yet but hoping it is good! Overall I’m decently happy with my purchase just wish I would have read more on my end but that’s a me problem. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Product update June 2,2024. It's been 2 year's now ands this bad boy is still going strong even after 2 moves. The whole setup was well worth every cent. Definitely a great buy if your needing to lift up your shower head if it's too low. Definitely 5 🌟. I bought this extension shower bar knowing of it's slight issue of not being straight when you put it on so I thought I'd give it a try anyway. This bar doesn't go on straight has a bit of an angle yo it but besides that I babe had no issues with it at all except every now and then someone decides to adjust it they make it loose so I just gently hand tighten it back into place. I guess that would be your con. Now as far as I'm concerned I paid for what I got a really great shower extension that I'm able to adjust the height of my shower head now from the top of my head. Before I would have to bend down a bit to to get the top of my head which is really uncomfortable doing every time I shower but not anymore. I have it high enough now so when I get into the shower I ain't got to worry about hitting my head or bending down no more even though every now and then I catch myself doing it anyway. Look if your having issues standing in your own shower and are tired of the old bend the knees or hit your head routine and don't mind the so called slight right mean issue then by all means buy it. I really wanted to like this as I just moved into a house with a really short shower head. This unfortunately didn't solve the problem because you have to twist it onto the fixed wall pipe, and for me when it was tight, it was leaning at a significant angle. If I put it straight up as it should be it was too lose and just fell down, so that wouldn't work. Rather than having a nut on the end that you twist to tighten onto the wall pipe you have to twist the entire arm, so you're at the mercy of the threading on the wall pipe to determine if it's tight when it's straight up and down or not. It didn't work on my shower due to this, as shown in the photo. I ended up going with a different one that had an extra piece allowing you to tighten it at any angle. ... show more

I needed this item as I have a hand held shower head I needed installed. If I installed it directly to the wall pipe I would have needed a step stool to reach. Not handy in a shower. Lol. When you attach the extension to the wall pipe then put the hand held shower head on the extension and I can now reach it with no worries about slipping.
