These cases are terrible. They do not hold the amount of cars they say they do, they have big spaces in the middle (for monster jam trucks) but they will not reasonably holds standard cars. The standard car slots have a space under the middle of the car, so that only the wheels are supported. This leads to the cars falling sideways down through the middle of the rows on top of each other. I found a "thread organizer" that actually fits 48 cars securely. I wanted to buy my son a case that he could carry around himself at 2 years (he's at that age where he wants to start doing things himself), and this description seemed to fit the bill. I hesitated with the mixed reviews but overall I'm glad I purchased it. It's the perfect size for him to carry his cars around in, and even when loaded up isn't too heavy or awkward for him. More often than not, the lid isn't attached (it comes apart a little too easily) and my little one can't put it back together yet. But he will leave it together if he knows we're taking it someplace. There is no storage in the lid, its just made to look like a wheel on the outside for show. The only functionality is in the bottom half. The storage compartments really do hold 30 cars (see my picture). My biggest compliant is that for whatever reason, the storage slots are wider than necessary so there is a lot of wasted space and the cars can rattle around. Other reviewers have said that it is smaller than expected, but my thought is that it just doesn't have effective use of space. (See all of the extra space in the outer edges of the case in my picture). The spots are too wide for 1 car and not big enough for 2. Another thing I noticed is that we seem to have a lot of vehicles that are taller than standard cars, and there are only so many slots that the taller ones will fit into. The corner and middle slots are the largest. The middle slots can actually fit a few cars in each (kind of just a spot to dump in whatever doesn't fit into the other individual sections so you have to dig around in those slots to get the car you want out.) Having said all that, 30 cars is a good number for us to keep together to take somewhere. We probably don't need to have something to transport cars in that holds more than this, and my son doesn't care how the cars are put into the case. He loves taking the cars in and out of the slots to amuse himself. This isn't the sturdiest or most efficient storage container but it looks cute and keeps our stuff together.     • It only holds 50-60 cars and they end up in a pile in the bottom of the case and fall everywhere when you open it.

It's about the size of a very small piece of carry on luggage. They advertise 100 car capacity, but you are more likely to fit 50-60 in there. It's a pretty nice case on the outside with a retractable handle and nice wheels that roll easily. It stays closed and looks great. On the inside however the design to hold cars was not well thought out at all. They basically want you to stack 2-3 cars on top of each other to squeeze them in the spaces that are just not properly sized for Matchbox or HotWheels vehicles. It's ok for my toddler, but all of the cars and trucks are going to end up scratched up. There is a center divider that is supposed to keep the cars from falling out when you open the case, but it fails every time and the cars all fall out everywhere. I know there are not a lot of choices in cases for these cars, and this one is the largest but it really isn't the best choice. ... show more

I was disappointed the hot wheels put their name on this product. My little guy LOVES his little hot wheels cars so bought this for him to keep his cars in. Very very poor quality. The latch on the top doesn't latch or stay closed, just overall poor quality for a "hotwheels" product. I think they should remove their name from the product. Obviously, no one tested this product prior to putting this as a hot wheels product, if they did, shame on them. total waste of money ... show more

Save your money! This case is so flimsy and cheap, not even worth the $17 I paid. Your cars are as safe and secure in a shoe box as they are in this case. They fall out of the slots and turn and flip around just from closing and reopening the case. The slots have the “floor” cut out and there isn’t enough material left to keep the cars from falling through. The orange panel is so flimsy that it sounds like it’s going to snap every time you open it and it only covers one side at a time. Poor design, poor quality. ... show more

I was a little iffy ordering this since there were a lot of negative reviews, but so glad we did. Well made plenty of room for cars. Yes you can fit 100 cars in there we actually got more than that in our case. There are different sized compartments and some spaces require smaller cars, while others you can put large trucks or several cars in a slot. Not a lot of options out there to store large quantities of HotWheels. My son loves this rolling case. I don't love the way it snaps inside to separate the each side, it is a little hard for my 5 year old to open. The reason for the 4 stars. Smaller than I thought.... I have so many hot wheel or die fast cars, I’m trying to organize them, as of now they’ve been stored in a plastic container... This is the second hot wheels storage organizer I’ve bought, and this one is so much smaller boo.... and cheaper quality! The quality is ok, it is thin cheap plastic and the latch at the top doesn’t close too well, so it constantly pops open and the cars fall out. Some hot wheels do not fit in the slots so I throw them at the top but it can only fit so many!!! I am not satisfied with this organizer case however the price was very good so I will tolerate it. I think I paid $7 so I shouldn’t complain! I just wish it was more like the other car or train organizers I’ve bought!!! Please see pics to show how they regular hot wheels do not fit well, and causes the case to not close good. ... show more
