Was hopefully when I opened the package, but I think the color washed out a bit when I washed them for the first time. Sheets came out looking more orange than rust. I washed on cold water and low heat drying. Soft, but thin sheets.

The fitted queen size sheet is irregular it did not fit my mattress . The color s true to the picture and it is soft to touch. I didn’t open the package until months later to use for my quest. I would have returned it.
