The good: I looked around everywhere on Amazon trying to find a shoe storage unit that would also fit my husbands shoes. He wears a size 11.5 (US) and the shoes fit good. Some bulkier tennis shoes have to be fitted slightly sideways but they fit. If you remove the divider it will help you fit the shoe straight without an issue (even has some space left) but you do lose that second tier. I also appreciate it has a compartment for boots and a smaller one for items like a leash or keys. We placed this in the garage and it has helped keep the area clean. The not so good: it does take a long time to build. Took me all morning to do so. It has a lot of steps but the good thing is that instructions are clear and easy to follow. It is not solid wood but compressed wood with a veneer laminated finish. Not a deal breaker for me as we needed it for the garage but if you are looking for a high end piece this may not be for you. Although it does look nicer once you put the crystal doorknobs. If you have little children this will need to be anchored to the wall. It is tall and light so it can easily be pulled by a little kid. If you don’t tack it to the wall… it can very easily fall over. It’s thin enough and can hold about 6 pairs of shoes…. Maybe 9 depending on the shoes and you’d have to place them differently to fit three pairs in one draw.

I really like this shoe cabinet and will probably but another. It fits about 9-10 pairs of women's size 9 shoes. Not sure if my boyfriend's shoes would fit, would probably fit fewer pairs of larger shoes. It looks really nice in my entryway. It's thin and doesn't get in the way. Perfect for keeping my cat from stealing all my sandals to chew on! I took off a star because the instructions were pretty confusing towards the end. I think they should change the order of the instructions. We had to take some things apart that we did in the beginning to get the last shelf in. But we figured it out after a while and now we know for next time. ... show more

I've been looking for tilt drawer shoe storage for a while and have looked at options at IKEA and Wayfair as well trying to find the perfect one for what I needed. I needed one with less than 7 inches in depth, a reasonable amount of storage, a reasonable price, and the right wood tone. This one checked all of my boxes! The hardware is ugly silver plastic and I was looking for black to match the rest of my hardware but while the spacing of the screw holes is a standard size it's not the most common so there were less options available. I ended up just painting the plastic ones black and they look fine. The instructions were easy to follow and two of us put three of them together in an hour and a half. We did mount them flush to the wall but the drywall plugs included were garbage and we used other ones we had on hand. The materials do feel a bit cheap and are particle board but for $100 each that's what I expected. I think $70 is a more reasonable price, however I do think they will hold up great. ... show more

This is one of those items you tell yourself you don't NEED, so you don't bother ordering it. HA! Guess what? You DO need this! I now have my shoes neatly organized near the door so I can easily grab a pair and kick myself in the ass for not ordering this sooner! Even Jesus Tap Dancing Christ would love shoe organizer to keep all of his tap shoes in place! It's narrow and fits snugly against the wall, so it's unobtrusive and not a bulky, obnoxious piece of furniture like the elephants you inherited from your grandmother. It was easy enough to put together, although it took this assembly-challenged woman a few more minutes than the directions suggested. TOTALLY worth it, though! This one has the wicker front. I'll probably get the plain white one for my bedroom. (I might even use it for more than shoes in there...) ... show more

I was happy to discover this shoe storage unit is actually quite sturdy...it's slim and fits in a small space, required for someone living in a small abode such as myself. I was initially worried to use a rubber mallet to smash the parts into place, but the pieces are strong enough to withstand that abuse and it seems solid once put together. I was very impressed and it exceeded expectations--now I have real shoe storage. Yay! ... show more

This shoe organizer is incredibly useful for optimizing space in my small apartment. I wear a men's size 10 shoe, and, as other reviews have mentioned, some of my bulkier shoes need to be positioned to the side to fit. It's a well-made product overall.
