Description

Originally it was the Danish cabinet maker Hans Gustav Ehrenreich (1917-1984) who designed the cheerful and cute Hoptimists in 1968. The strong colors and round shapes that characterize his figures were in keeping with the trend of the time. Ehrenreich took part in several international exhibitions and received numerous awards for his handicrafts at home and abroad. The wonderful Hoptimists hopefully put you in a good mood. Baby Bumble is the brother of Baby Bimble and inspires its owners with bright, smiling eyes. The classic design has delighted a large fan base all over the world for years. If you nudge the happy hoptimists, they rock and wiggle back and forth. Bimble simply spreads a good mood that is difficult to escape. The Hoptimists were originally made from 1968-1974. In 2009 the designer Lotte Steffensen and the Hoptimist company reissued the world-famous figures after consulting Ehrenreich's son Jørn. For Lotte it was important that the reprint took place in the spirit of Ehrenreich and that the Hoptimists were as authentic as possible.
