I’m using these parts to build a custom Rustler 4x4. Even though I’m still waiting on some more parts to complete my build, I’ve been able to install nearly all of the components from this kit and test the fit. The only things I left out were some pieces of hardware. Everything fits nicely together, and there is no binding of the parts. All of the hardware I used is the correct size. There are no instructions, so it can be easy to install some of the parts incorrectly, which will cause them to bind. For example, on the front steering blocks, they need to be installed properly. There are a couple of grooves cut into the bottoms of the left and right sides. If these grooves aren’t aligned with the hinge pins, it will cause them to bind when steering. If installed correctly, they move fluidly. Also, some of the turnbuckles are different lengths and have different sizes on either end. If they are installed backwards, they will not fit properly. There is only one set of components that gave me trouble, and those are the hub extensions. They fit onto the wheel hexes just fine, but I cannot get any wheel nuts to fit inside of them since the diameter is too large. I might not even need to use the hub extensions to complete my build, so this may not be an issue for me. It will all depend on the style of body and wheels I end up using. Overall, I’m pleased with this set. The shock absorbers seem nice and plush. The oil is not too thick, and the springs are not too strong. I repeat do not buy. Got this in the middle of winter and installed onto my rc while I waited for the snow to go away. And all the parts rusted while it sat on my wall not even used yet. The metal shafts bind like crazy and make my rc go into a thermal shut down. After oiling them and freeing them it still puts a huge load on the rc. I even changed my esc and motor thinking they were shitting the bed and unfortunately still had the issue. I changed everything back to stock and problem fixed. Also the metal is super cheap the first time I brought it out before it started over heating I hit one small bump and it broke one of the tie rods right off at the plastic. The plastic was undamaged but the metal portion bent till it snapped at the threads. Save your money and just buy plastic parts. Don’t bother with this kit ... show more

I am always happy when I order my RC parts from hopsupRC. These look well made and are manufactured with aluminum and CNC Machined for perfect fitting in my car. I put a couple parts on my car and ran it hard for about 20 minutes and everything worked just as it should. It's nice to have upgrades to my car. There are a lot of parts here for the price. after hours putting this kit together. Finally got the battery in went to the back yard and five mins later the arm snapped. The stock ones are still perfect as the car was brand new. Really sad quality

Easily replace your plastic parts with metal. This is a straight out of the package upgrade. All the parts are well made and fit nicely, they also have a nice finish. Comes with a lot of extra bolts which is also nice as I constantly lose them.
