I got this for my jeep which has a HD tire carrier so adding this was not a problem. I did have to adjust it so the lift gate glass wouldn’t hit as it opens. But it’s been great added cargo space for my jlu seen as I have a 150 pound American bull who’s taking up a lot of space. I put my cooler, table, camp chairs, and tent on it about 60 pounds of gear and it’s holds up to the rough roads and keeps my gear out of the head wind witch = better MPG! I’m very disappointed with this product it’s too heavy to put over tire, I had to return it but it cost me $86 after the company gave me 30% discount to ship it back, and Amazon didn’t back me up because it’s third party sellers, live and learn , next time read all details

    • Perfect for removable/non permanent storage
It does take awhile to assemble but we are happy we got. Will use it mostly for carrying firewood on weekend overland trips. Keep the wood debris out of the Jeep. Once you get adjusted for your tire size, easy on and off. Feels solid. Also like the fact we can add water/gas containers to it as well.

Works great, but had to slightly modify bracket in order to accommodate water Rotopax for Jeep Wrangler JL. Also a ton of extra parts to assemble. It was a never-ending task of putting in screws. Many of those parts could have been pre-assembled at the factory or welded. It took forever to screw in all the excessive amount of screws. ... show more
