So easy to assemble and much more sturdy that you would think. It is a perfect size for storing king size bed winter blankets.The lid closes softly, no banging to catch fingers. It is a good looking piece of furniture. We are very happy with it and it's a great bargain.

This box turned out really nice. The wood looks good and not cheap. It was easy to put together. Having two people would make putting the lid on easier but it can be done with one person, just takes a little more effort. Seems very sturdy. Make sure you have a screw driver for the hinges. This was a two person project! The directions are just a little bit unclear-for example, there is a diagram that shows a screw needs to be inserted into the back of the chest to anchor the lid. There is no hole for said screw and as shown in the diagram and it cracked the back of the chest. BUTTTTT-the crack is hard to see and didn't effect the overall sturdiness of the chest. It holds a large amount of toys, the lid stays up properly with the support hinge so our little one doesn't drop the lid on her head. It's very pretty! We'd order another one. ... show more

I usually don't write reviews. But I read them for this one because it's a pricer item. I bought this for toys. I was able to build it myself, it took maybe 30 minutes. The media could not be loaded. I was sold on the lid closure safety and how stylish it looked. I wasn’t for sure how sturdy it would be but for a toddler or small storage it will work great! Price wasn’t bad. All parts were present, no smell, quality seemed fine for the price, I knew it wasn’t real wood but it has a nice look to it for any room in the house. In the video, I use my grandchild’s nickname “whoa,”she needs wrapped in bubblewrap! So the corner protectors were a nice inclusion!! I like the way the creator thought of the dip in the front, just one more way to avoid finger mashing on little hands. 🙌 ... show more
