Edit: I believe I may have a low shank machine and this part is not compatible with low shank. I'm a beginner so I learned the hard way. Ordered a new foot for low shank machines and hopefully that will work out. I have a brother vx1435 and this isn't a universal piece that can be adjusted. Both thick white plastic parts on the "claws" that attach to the machine are too bulky. I wish it was just a thin metal attachment that would be more versatile and allow the screws to attach tighter. Would have potentially been useful if I could remove the white plastic on the piece that attaches to the needle holding screw, because it is so thick that the screw won't go in fully enough for my machine to hold a needle. I'm a beginner and have been messing around with it in many different ways thinking it was me, but this part is just not fit for my machine. ... show more

Received this walking foot a few days ago and I must say I really am happy that I ordered this one. I love the open toe, which gives an excellent view of where you are sewing. I highly recommend the Honeysew even feed (walking foot) attachment. This foot works wonderful with a low shank Singer.
