  • a good value for money...
I value honey over all other sweet stuff including preserves, marmalades, jams etc. Therefore we regularly purchase honey. This is the first time I bought this brand and so far it has met my expectations and even exceeded them. First of all, it is organic (USDA certified) which shows that the bees were put in either organic farms or in wild to collect their nectar. In this case since it is wildflower, it should be the second option. It gives us confidence that the honey does not contain the agricultural pollutants that would exist in conventional farms. I know organic farms use some chemicals too but they are considerably less in amount and relatively less harmful. Since this one is wildflower, it is highly unlikely that the guys sprayed those wild bushes and trees and flowers that the bees use. So I can say that wildflower organic is the best you can find in terms of not having chemicals. Secondly, it is raw. Honey can be sold in two forms, raw or processed. Processed means it was heated up to high temperatures which would potentially kill the germs (like pasteurization) and also allow honey to get a more runny syrup like texture. However, many experts believe that pasteurization is neither required, nor beneficial. Moreover, high heat kills many vitamins and other beneficial components of the honey turning it into nothing more than a sugary mix. Therefore, to get the highest benefit from the honey, I always go for raw which is just honey as it is made by the bees. Thirdly, it is wild flower. As I mentioned above, my personal feeling is that wildflower should not have any sprayed chemicals on them. Besides, I like the mixed flavor of the flavor since that honey comes from a variety of different flowers instead of coming from a single one. Each contributor adds a different taste and other elements making the overall tastes completely unique and I like that idea. Fourthly, It has a good runny texture and a moderately sweet taste (for a honey, it is not the sweetest I have ever eaten but I like a little milder taste better). The flavor is great too. I have had it at room temperature for over a month now and have seen no crystalization at all... Last but not least, it is stored in safer plastic. I am always against food being stored in plastic and I go for glass as much as possible but this one is a BPA free plastic type (labeled as recycle code no:1 plastic and that means PETE which is free of BPA, a nasty endocrine disruptor). In conclusion, I liked this honey and it offers a good value for money when ordered through the subscribe and save program ($5.28/12 ounces after 20% subscribe and save and amazon prime combined discount.). As long as the price stays appealing, I will keep it as a regular item on my breakfast table... ... show more

  • what a wonderful product!
I purchased this product for a number of reasons. The honey I had been using was so over processed and over sweet that I had to make a switch. This honey you actually taste the honey. The other reason I bought it was I had read that raw honey was good for your digestion. It was so true! It cleared up some minor issues that I had been having. Will definitely buy again. ... show more

  • Not What I Expected
This honey s very disappointing. It's flaor is odd and it crystalized 3 weeks after its arrival. I gave my daughter two bottles on her birthday and purchased one for myself. I regret the purchase.

  • This honey snob loves this honey
I miss the farmer's markets. I used to buy fresh honey in small containers and a variety of flavors (different flowers = different flavors). This was a pleasant surprise. It's got a solid, very sharp flavor, it's great in Tea. Some honeys just dont have the profile or the "legs" to really stand up to a strong tea. This one is great. The design of the bottle is good so far. It's easy to dispense and doesnt tend to clog the works up. I dont have a fancy honey spoon, I like the upside down bottles. ... show more

  • Great honey for a great price
This honey is awesome. It’s organic and pretty to look at, the bottle makes me want to make hot tea and peanut butter toast just by existing. It’s a good value for the cost as honey in store is getting more and more expensive every day.
