I absolutely love this mascara! have watery eyes and struggled to find a mascara that didn’t run and leave black rings under my eyes by the end of the day (even when using waterproof mascara). Honest Beauty mascara is the first mascara that I’ve used that stays on without running, but is also easy to remove at the end of the day. The lash primer helps lengthen and thicken my lashes, too. I had initially received this as a gift and then started to purchase a few more of the honest mascara. I love the additional primer, but it's hypoallergenic for those who have sensitive eyes. I don't find it to itch even after crying and it's not too thick, even with the primer.

I like trying all sorts of makeup products and I have always wanted to try this one as it has fantastic reviews. Mascara really depends on what type of product you like. It’s highly individualized, right? I would say this is a medium wet, heavy cream formula. There’s a primer built in on the other end of the tube. The primer is about the same as any other lash primer I’ve used. The wand is molded flexible silicone or plastic. I find the formulation to be too wet and thick to be able to get close to my lash line. I just get a mess. The spikes on the wand are too wide set to get any separation, I get clumps that I have to go in with a lash comb to fix. The color is true black. Overall, the formula is too wet and heavy. I loose too many lashes when washing it off and it still leaves behind a lot of product. I don’t get the length, lift and separation that I prefer. So, I don’t recommend it nor will I repurchase it. ... show more

This stuff is truly amazing. I didn't rub my eyes all night, not once. The mascara grabs onto the primer & makes my thin, short lashes look full. I cannot wait to try Honest eye shadows.

I love this mascara. The ònly thing I wasn’t impressed with the brush felt like it was pulling my lashes a little but the mascara was good quality and it’s non toxic.
