Lately I have been making the switch to the more natural and less toxic products. Rather than completely throwing out all of my products, I have been changing over as the product runs out. It seems as tho Honest Beauty is my now go-to for make up products. So let's break this down a bit. The feel - it is a thick (thicker than I had expected) but creamy consistency that rubs in nicely on the skin leaving you feeling like you only applied some lotion. The color - I nailed it on the head the first try and selected the EXACT color that I needed. A nice natural match that doesn't have any extreme undertones or darkness once it dries. The smell - it's...okay. But I'm not going to knock stars off for this one as I expected it to not smell great being a product without fragrance added. And I must note...it still manages to smell nicer than a lot of other natural or nontoxic products. The wear - this lasted me all day. By the end of the day I was impressed being that this is only a CC tinted moisturizer and not a full coverage foundation. My skin still looked natural but even. But please remember, as I said before, this is NOT a full coverage foundation. Sensitivity - I have extremely sensitive skin and I break out easily. This product, nor any Honest Beauty products I've worn thus far, have caused any irritation or breakouts. That alone is a cause for celebration with me as it's extremely difficult to find this. The removal - came off easily and left no noticeable residue. I do use a makeup remover balm prior to using my actual face wash. Price - for a natural nontoxic product, this price is pretty incredible. Product size is average among other CC's and foundations. I've honestly spent more on products with all the toxins who do less for me than this product does. Overall I'm incredibly pleased with this product and will continue to buy it! ... show more

I was looking for something without harmful ingredients in my yuka app, I tried the maybelline super stay and neutrogena healthy skin, they both were so liquid and didn't cover anything. And then I tried the honest beauty ccc tinted moisturizer, I was shocked that I really like it!! It covers just enough to give me a makeup look while staying natural. It does stay on all day too! I'm impressed and love knowing my skin won't be worse for wearing makeup. I read reviews saying it was too thick... I completely disagree, the consistency is not thick at all and it melts into my skin. I don't like a super radiant finish so I use a mineral powder on top to mattify my skin a bit. If you use a primer, make sure it's water based. Love this stuff! 👌 ... show more

I really wanted to like this product, given that it has so many benefits (vitamin c, sunscreen, moisturizing, etc.), but the color is just WAY off. I have fair skin, so I got the lightest color available (fair), but it was wayyy too dark and orange-colored. It looked like I had just gotten a spray tan when I put it on. I just really wish they made this in lighter shades, because I LOVED the coverage--it's the perfect solution for someone who wants to simplify their beauty routine with this all-in-one moisturizer, sunscreen, and vitamin C corrective. I have been searching for a foundation that doesn't feel cakey and that I can spread on with a finger (cuz I am all about the quick, easy, natural-looking beauty routine), yet provides enough coverage to conceal my blemishes. This would have been PERFECT for that, and I totally would get it again IF it was just the RIGHT COLOR. It really is the perfect consistency. I think the only reason some reviewers have said it's cakey is because it was probably the wrong color for them or because they were looking for more of a moisturizer-consistency than an all-in-one foundation substitute. The consistency really does provide a lot better coverage than a lot of foundations I've tried. PLEASE just MAKE IT IN THE RIGHT COLOR! ... show more

    • A little goes a long way
Color: Alabaster Fair Light
I like what honest beauty stands for and have been trying out a bunch of their products to find out what works for me. I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup but wanted to try this out just to have in my arsenal. Sunscreen plus moisturizing benefits, with tinted coverage? I'm all about fewer steps in my morning routine. Color: My skin tone is pretty close to Jessica Alba's, so based on other reviews noting that these tend to run dark I determined I was between fair and light. Ended up getting fair and now use this product as concealer to lighten and color correct my dark circles. I could probably get away with light for the rest of my face in the summer. Fair works great for me for concealer, and I love it. Size: At first I was disappointed when the product arrived and I realized it's a decently small tube - especially considering it's supposed to be used for the whole face, not just undereyes - but I quickly learned a little goes a long, long way. I use a half pump to cover my undereyes, so the tube will last me a long time. Consistency/Coverage: I would say the consistency is thinner and lighter than I expected, and it looks pretty dewy on the skin. Gotta give it a little time to soak in, and throw some powder on if you don't want to be too dewy/if you don't want it to crease. It's not totally full coverage, but I can easily build it up with another layer for when I want to wear more makeup than my regular everyday. Goes onto the skin easily with my fingers, it can really melt in. Love that I still look like a human and not an airbrushed doll. Works like a charm. When I first started using the product, it would pill on my skin, but I quickly realized I was simply not prepping my skin the right way - it doesn't go well onto dry skin. We all should be moisturizing before makeup, anyway :) Ever since I figured that out, it works like a charm. Overall: I love that I feel like I'm putting extra sunscreen protection on my sensitive undereye areas in addition to simply covering those dark circles. Apparently there's also vitamin C in it, but I don't think there's much, so just a small added bonus. Surprisingly great value. Thanks again, honest beauty! ... show more
