This coffee maker render excellent coffee. My old one died and needed a new one. I was hesitant because I never heard of this brand. The reviews were pretty good, so I took the plunge. This is very easy to operate and clean. I highly recommend, especially if you're like me a fussy coffee drinker.

    • Straightforward and easy to use
I wanted to replace my single-cup coffee maker with a classic drip coffee pot that would be of good quality but simple enough that my older family members could use. This was certainly the right choice. It works well whether I am brewing a half or full pot of coffee. The design of the pot is very easy to hold and have a firm grip on, which was another big consideration as it is easier to hold with my disability. Even with shakier hands, the weight distribution gives me a steadier pour. There is an “aroma” feature that can be turned on or off, something I have never had. It’s surprisingly lovely and being able to minimize or maximize the taste and it was a feature I never considered. Sometimes I don’t want a strong smell and taste to my coffee, especially later in the day. The usage of this is so straightforward and the reusable filter is wonderful. It is sturdy, easy to clean, and minimizes waste. Overall, this is an excellent addition to my kitchen and suits my needs perfectly. ... show more

Don't get this machine. It broke after just a few months. It has an error code and won't do anything anymore. Manual says to contact the seller for this errorcode and it is supposed to have 2 year warranty. But i get no reply from the seller to my emails. Update after placing this review seller contacted me and gave me a full refund. ... show more

Does not make coffee when you set it up/ Temp of coffee does not work / does not keep warm ! Only way is to make coffee warm then but does not keep warm.

I really like this coffee maker. It replaced my old one because that old one was not safe. So this new one is much better! I like the look and the feel of this one. The carafe fits into the coffee maker very well. The lid opens completely so that it is easy to fill. It includes a long-life filter shaped for the basket. One of the very nice features is the ability to adjust the "warm timer". You can set it to keep the pot warm as long as you want up to 4 hours I think. That is a great feature for me! You can adjust the warming temperature, and there are other settings and adjustments. Overall this might be my favorite "plain" coffee maker I've ever had. ... show more

    • Wonderful coffee machine, especially for newer coffee drinkers
I rarely drink coffee very much, due to not feeling the caffeine effects, but I was always interested in the taste and the process of making coffee. This machine comes with easy instructions for use and works as well as it looks. I have brewed already about 10 cups of coffee and the machine functions well. The permanent filter is easy to clean and if you desire to use your own filters, it easy to lay the new filter in to replace the permanent one.     • Pooor design
The conical shape of the coffee basket prevents good brewing. Water runs onto the warming plate, and coffee grounds end up in the coffee. Also, coffee doesn't pour from the carafe safely. It spills on the counter and all around the cup. Most disappointing!
