They are almost like wearing socks with grippers on the bottom, non-confining and you hardly know they are on. These slippers are very comfortable and from the looks of them, they seem well made. I like the hard sole and how they fit around my heal. I ordered an 8.5 and with socks they are a bit snug in the length. I wear a size 9 tennis shoe so it was a toss up since the next size up is a 9-10. I did not plan to wear these outside, so they don;t have much support, but they are comfortable and fit just right. I wear a US size 10 and sometimes a wide, I got the 9-10 size recommended by Amazon and they are nice. I haven not washed them so I don't know if they will shrink. I've had them a couple weeks They stay on your feet as they are NOT mules, but you do have to pull them on, but that's why I got them - as a safety factor. Initially, they're cushioned, but over time, and after frequent washing/drying, they lose some support...and start to stretch out.
