Where we like to camp we find a lot of unlevel campsites and that first step into the camper is often too high. This helps so much. You can use it in the completely folded up position and gain about 2 inches. Or you can open it up and adjust it to meet the stair height you want. Got this for our camper and it's a tank of a stair platform!!! Super steady. Wide and deep for big feet. DOES NOT BUDGE and I'm a hefty person! Adjustable height is excellent. I got yellow so it's visible at night and it is. This was an excellent purchase.
