I occasionally do some live streaming consulting and have a few spools of 200 feet of Cat 6 ethernet cabling for my cameras. These cables come perfectly wrapped up from the manufacturer but quickly become a rat's nest that's very difficult to transport afterward. I bought one of these reels to see if it could help better store these cables in between jobs. And it did! Anything stored on a reel can be unreeled without needing to untangle. I got a couple of these. On one, I store a 50 ft air hose. The other holds a 50 ft pressure washer hose. I find that storage is easy, compact, and kink-free. Designed without an axel, I can easily work it by myself. As a bonus, when winding up the pressure washer hose, it self-drains as I wind. It’s fine just as advertised but in all honesty unless you’re very OCD you won’t use it after a few times. It’s just easier to simply loop it by hand. But if you want to use one, this reel works great.
