  • My dad loves it
Style: Standard
I bought this for my dad who has deformed feet with several partial toe amputations, which makes it difficult to clean his feet around and between his toes. He thought it was a waste when I bought it and did not expect to like it at all. He ended up loving it! We were able to get his entire feet completely clean and wonderful feeling. He has larger feet, size 13 D, and one is deformed making it very large around the instep and arch. (Charcot joint in case that helps anyone decided if they can use this or not.) We were able to fit this foot in the spa with no trouble. The edge of the top where the controls are could be risky for diabetic feet and must be carefully avoided, but this is not difficult to do as long as you take your time putting your feet in and taking them out. Some reviews have complained about the lack of temperature control. This is the lower end Homedics foot spa, so there is no temperature control. The temperature must be set and maintained by adding the temperature of water you want. If a temperature control feature is important to you, it will require a step up in the product line. I assume that the higher end product lines will also produce more bubbles. The bubbles were very adequate for us and I was actually surprised at the amount of bubbles. I did find that if you put anything in the water, such as soap or soak granules the bubbles decrease. It seems this is likely due to obstruction of the holes that releases the air to produce the bubbles. I had to take a little extra time to clean these out after I used liquid soap as a soak. It was not very loud but we had a small area rug and then we placed a towel under it. The cats weren't even afraid of it after a few minutes. We're both extremely satisfied and surprised by this spa. • Be Aware! No real Heat, NO EPSOM SALT ALLOWED!
Style: Standard
You can NOT use OILS (like a few drops of tea tree oil), soaps, OR SALTS.. NOTHING! I bought this to use epsom salts with it. You can't! It does not really heat the water and after 30 minutes you can burn out the motor!? I gave 4 stars but never used it. Good overall design.. For a cool water soak..?? Not what I bought it for. No different from a shower. You get your feet wet.. With some bubbles. Save your money .. Buy a good pumice stone.. A regular plastic tub and salts. Use a ceramic tea (or kettle) pot to pour a little heat in at a time to heat a big cheap dish tub. One with a handle is best..or a handled bucket to fill. This is mostly pointless! IT IS ONLY for plain WATER! Designers take note: salts, oils, real heat are needed! With a shut off timer. And a ground fault. Its water + electricity.. We would pay for features. As a plain water foot soak.. Go for it. Dissapointed. ... show more

  • The best foot bath
Style: Standard
This foot bath is compact enough that it won’t take that much space. It’s comfortable and provides a good massage with minimal vibration effect. I like that it actually works for what is meant to be the best water foot massage. It a bit noisy but it doesn’t bother me.

  • Perfect for my mom
Style: Standard
I bought this foot spa for my elderly mother and she really likes it. She uses it every Friday morning and says it is a relaxing time for her. The bubbles are vigorous and soothing and there is an attached pumice stone if needed. Of note, this does not heat the water, but the water stays warm for the several minutes that my mother uses it. ... show more

  • It works, but they make it out to be a bit more than it is.
Style: Standard
To be truthful, this product is a wash basin with an integrated air pump that pushes a small amount of air through the bottom of the basin while sounding a lot like someone is running a weed whacker around your feet... The basin is made of a relatively sturdy plastic with formed 'ridges' and 'bumps' on the bottom, a strip down the center of each side with small holes that 'bubbles' come out of, and a colored plastic shield over the top front 1/4 of the basin which has a slot in it for the included foot stone. I purchased two of these items, one for my wife and one for myself and for the discounted rate I paid I guess I didn't expect much... Water Temperature is controlled by the water that you put in, there is no form of internal heater which means that sadly in order to put enough hot water into the basin to last for a full session you have to put in scalding water you can't maintain. The 'Invigorating Bubbles' are really barely able to do more than cause a little bit of water turbulence and given how they originate under the foot rest area, once you place your feet flat inside the basin you end up blocking the great majority of the bubbles. Sadly the air pump that produces the air bubbles is so loud that it can even interfere with simple, normal voiced, conversations and resembles the sound of fish tank air pump. All told, if you're just looking for something to soak your feet in, it works...but lets not pretend this is a full on foot spa or that there are 'Invigorating Bubbles.' Go into this with proper expectations and it will be fine...expect a simple foot bath and you'll be perfectly satisfied with your purchase, just make sure you have proper expectations. ... show more
