  • Great little AMP
Sounds great, love the Bluetooth feature. Now I can listen to TV with headphones on higher and my wife can listen with normal volume. Little AMP with lots of features. Seems to be built well. Wish I would have found this years ago instead of the cheap amps I bought, that did not last.

  • Great value
Love this little amp. Has plenty of inputs for most of my needs and the Bluetooth is great for pairing with my Amazon Firestick. I wish it had a remote though. Well worth the money. Sound quality is great and plenty of power.

  • Full features in a sturdy and compact package
Sturdily built and compact, well suited for my intended use to drive a pair of studio monitor speakers from my computer as well as other sources. Controls are intuitive, including BT pairing. One improvement I would suggest would be to move the 3.5mm aux input to the rear panel -- or have one front and back. (In my setup, the amp will be more or less permanently connected to a computer output, so 3.5 to 3.5 in the back would be ideal. I wound up using a 3.5 to RCA Y-cable.) The first unit I received produced an unusually loud pop from the speakers when switched off. All amps make a little noise when switched off; this one uncomfortably so. Pyle tech support recommended that I replace the device. Amazon did a stunning job on the exchange, leaving a new one on my doorstep literally 25 hours after I'd turned the old one in at my local Hub. The new unit works fine, an occasional little crackle I'd expect from any amp on power off, nothing like the spike from the first unit. ... show more

  • Don't Buy This Product
This worked for eight months then made a loud popping sound and stopped working. Eight months. Not worth it

  • decent little amp at a good price
Considering the purchase price, this is a decent little amp and it seems to work well for our application (which is for a small PA system used in a gaming house.

  • A GREAT stereo amp and superb value ... however beware the power spec
This is a great little stereo amplifier with 3 RCA inputs for Aux 1, Aux2 and CD. There's also a high impedance microphone input (1/4" jack) and a spare Aux input (1/8" jack) on the front panel. The front panel controls are Input Select, Balance, Treble, Bass, Master Volume and a mic input level volume. Outputs are L & R speaker terminals, Record out (flat) and Phones. There are switches for Mixing the mic with main program material, a Pager setting for the mic, a On/Off power switch and a voltage selector (110/240). It's very well built, solid and looks high quality. Listening tests on quality speakers (JR149s) plus passive sub woofer sounds to me exactly as good as my normal home HiFi on different types of program material. It's subjective but honestly, I couldn't tell the difference so sounds great. Now for some technical stuff. As I have a digital scope & a sig generator I measured the frequency response into a resistive load (8 ohms) and it was as advertised (in linear region ie: no distortion). I ran a 1KHz square wave at several different levels (short of clipping) and the unit showed no signs of ringing or instability which is very good. Then for the not so good..... The unit is advertised as being able to source 2 x 120 watts into a 4 ohm load. My measurements showed using a 200Hz and 1KHz sine wave that just below the onset of clipping it would provide 18.4v peak into 8 ohms and 15.2v peak into 4 ohms which translates into 21 watts RMS into 8 ohms and 29 watts RMS into 4 ohms per channel. So in reality my unit provides 2x30 RMS watts into 4 ohm and NOT the 2x120 watts as advertised. Some manufacturers provide misleading power info by advertising PEAK instantaneous output power without stating that it's not true RMS power which is the only power that counts. Peak power divided by 4 equates to RMS power. You can't really say it's dishonest advertising so buyer beware!! So in summary, this is a superb high quality and versatile home stereo amp at an incredible price. Mine provides 21 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms (which most home speakers are) and should provide years of listening pleasure at reasonable volumes. ... show more

  • Solid construction and heft but advertised power rating misleading.
This is my initial review upon first use. I may upgrade my rating later. This little amp has a nice heft to it, weighs around 5 pounds. The case is solidly constructed. Upon viewing the included manual, I see that the actual rated power output is only 20 watts RMS per channel through 4 ohms at 1% THD. It is 32 watts at 10% distortion. I am trying it out now, using the mp3 input from my Samsung phone to play Dvorak Symphony #9 through Acoustic SA-4 3 inch, 8 ohm speakers. The speakers are rated for 5-105 watts and compliant from 150-20khz.The sound is not particularly loud at 60% on the dial. The amp may actually sound better with some Hi-fi speakers which are more compliant on the bottom end. will try that setup at some point during this 1st week. I have purchased 3 T-type amps over the last 4 years, which work OK at low volume levels. I was looking for something with small form that could push out a bit more power. I will update the review as I use the amp a bit more. I am considering pairing this amp with these speakers Dayton Audio B652 6-1/2-Inch 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker Pair If anyone has paired these I would like to hear about your experience. ... show more
