This is an expensive piece of trash. The first one broke and said to return the pixie to the lantern, she hadn't even had the zip ties removed from her, so we sent that one back. We got the replacement and my daughter finally got to use it. She ran those 4 initial AA batteries in an hour or 2 (this thing will cost you a TON in batteries if you can manage to get one that works) so I grabbed 4 brand new batteries and loaded it back up, and.......nothing, no power. Ok, so maybe there was a dead battery in that bunch. So I opened a brand new pack of batteries and replaced the already new berries in the lantern and..... Again, nothing. At this point, my daughter is completely distraught, she saw this thing in an Amazon Christmas catalog that they sent me. Never again will I allow them to see this catalog. So now I get to see if they will take another return because she wants to pay with this thing so badly. Save your money and sanity, avoid the headache and just DO NOT hit that Add to cart or Buy Now button, get a dog instead, that will lead you to less frustration then this lantern will. ... show more

    • Horrible not worth it
First one came to us broke and wouldn't work. They sent us a replacement. This lantern eats batteries. Even if it is off we were having to replace the batteries every 2 days. My daughter had uses it about 5 times in the last month due to it constantly going thru batteries. It now wont turn on and is broke even after i tried replacing the batteries. Waste of money ... show more

Great for kids who will sit down to play! Size is fun for my 3 year old. We love to dance and play along with our Pixie outside rather than inside her Lantern. The machine will work with the Pixie doll on the outside.

    • Battery drains immediately, Do NOT purchase
Item was purchased as Santa's present and did not work. Put in new batteries twice, still did not work. Returned it to "Santa" and recieved a new one. Worked for 1 day, turned it off and tried again another day and battery was already dead. Keep changing through battery and I as the adult keep turning it to "off" mode, just to be sure it isn't on and using battery. We paid full price of about $70. Wow, big mistake! Too late to return. Going to try to reach out to company. See what they can do. I suggest not buying this. ... show more

    • Overpriced, but my kid loves it
As a parent, I was loathe to buy this overpriced toy that runs through batteries very quickly. But, my daughter absolutely loved it for her birthday. She even goes out of her way to hide it before friends come over, because she doesn't want them to break it.

    • Not worth it!
My daughter loves this toy, it has very cool features but it doesn’t work properly. Sometimes it turns on, sometimes it doesn’t. It uses a looot of batteries (I ended up buying rechargeable ones so that she could actually get to play with it). After 3 months it just doesn’t want to turn on anymore. Bummer because like I said, my daughter loved it and we paid like $80 for it, not worth even $30 imo. ... show more
