Love em. I replaced last pair within a few months so that’s not a good sign. Feel plush and strong on their first few outings. They’re good on hard surfaces, making the miles disappear. But the wear and tear makes you think.

I love Hoka shoes. I have bought about 6 pair of this same Bondi 8. Something is wrong with these. After a couple of hours my knees hurt so bad, I didn't think it could be the shoes and kept wearing them for a few more days. I switched to an old pair and within a couple of days the knee pain went away. After the pain was gone, I went back to these and the knee pain came back. Something is wrong. Save your box and be prepared to return if you get pain. Did a search and it seems to be a common problem, some people get calf pain. I guess the padding inside varies and makes you put weight in different areas of the foot. Too expensive to have this flaw. ... show more

What else would you want from an exercise shoe? I’ve had numerous Hoka shoes over the years and each time I slip on a new pair they feel like I’ve broken them in already. My whole foot is snug, the lacing is true and the cushioning is just right—soft yet firm.
