  • Bondi 8 but now called Hokka One?
Size: 13 Color: Black/Black
I wish they would stick with their orig naming. I had Bondi 7, then 8, I was looking to replace the 8 due to their excellence, but only hokka one keeps coming up on search. I bit on it due to the reviews, it’s the same shoe as far as I can tell as bondi 8. Very cushiony and plush, I find it fits true. They are heavy laden but I find the support makes carrying that weight worth it. Keep ‘‘em coming just make it easier to find them without guessing. I put Curex medium profile inserts in them too, as I have on the other pairs, maybe overkill. Love that first run in their shakedown outing, it used to be they squeaked but I haven’t noticed it. ... show more

  • great comfort
Size: 10 Wide Color: Black/Black
Probably the most I have ever paid for tennis shoes, but, the comfort is superior to any I ever wore.

  • Good quality shoes
Size: 8.5 Color: Black / Black
I love the big sole that takes the shock absorption. The shoe is nice looking. I will order more in other colors. This is a MUST try shoe.

  • Are Any Two Feet the Same?
Size: 12 Color: Black/Black
I have narrow feet and was initially worried because these didn't come in a narrow. But I decided to give them a try after reading reviews etc., hoping that these 'new' type of super-cushioned walking shoes would bring the comfort they promised. When they arrived, I was surprised at how snugly they fit--very unusual for me, but I liked the feel of them. (And they were super lightweight.) But unfortunately, as soon as I stood up, I was surprised at the pain from the arch supports that felt like two pieces of raw plastic edges sticking into feet. At first, I wondered if they were defective and needed to be exchanged. (I see this issue is mentioned in other reviews, something about a type of arch.) Anyway, I started walking around with them in the house, thinking that it was unlikely that they would ' break in' and have to be returned--a bummer since the cushioning aspect was amazing. After about a week, I took a chance and wore them for my daily walk. It hurt a bit but I made it through there were no blisters, so I wore them the next day and the next. They felt better every day and I've been wearing them on my walk ever since. I'm glad the breaking-in worked for me, because the comfort of the cushioning is just what I was looking for! ... show more

  • A highly-rated shoe for those with foot problems
Size: 10 Color: Black / Black
I purchased this shoe in an attempt to deal with some foot problems. My research showed it was highly rated by runners, walkers and their community for particular issues. The shoe is definitely well made. It's expensive, but for those it helps it worth the money. One of my friends wears them and swears by them. For me, the extensive cushioning did not work well with my particular foot problems. I went with another recommended shoe, a Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 to deal with overpronation. I ordered both shoes at the same time and tried them out indoors, so the shoes would be returnable. I am a big fan of cushioned soles and I also love the all-black design for its low-profile. I have worn Nike Air Monarchs for the same reason for over 10 years, mostly with orthotics, but my feet have changed during that time. In the end, there was a little too much cushion in the Hokas, so the Brooks served me better. Your feet may have different needs, so the Hokas may be perfect. I have spoken with my podiatrist about the shoes and pronation. He said he has recommended both to patients for different reasons. This is a really well made shoe and it might be the right one for you. Read up and ask your podiatrist, and possibly your sports-minded chiropractor, if you are fortunate to have one. ... show more

  • Terrible arch
Size: 8 Color: Black/White
The arch of this tennis shoe is too far back towards the hill. It’s Painful. if I’m going to spend this much money on a tennis shoe it should feel really good. The pair I received did not feel comfortable at all

  • i had to return these.
Size: 10 Color: Black / Black
these shoes looked sick, and the support felt amazing, BUT, i would use caution when ordering these if you have overpronation, because the arches of my feet were pressing into the inner side of the shoe, and i figured that could get uncomfortable after a while. for someone that doesn’t have this issue with their feet, i could see them being really comfortable! ... show more

  • These shoes are comfortable, but the heal may be too high.
Size: 11 Color: Bellwether Blue Scuba Blue
I like wearing these shoes. The colors may be too vibrant for some buyers. I have had some problems with my calves tightening while wearing these shoes. I don't know whether it was caused by the heal of the shoe or something else. I have switched to a shoe with a lower heal after my calves tightened during a walk, while walking down a small downgrade. ... show more
