I ordered a size small which is my size. They could not fit over my thighs. Way too small. Had to return. Will be ordering a medium and large just to be safe and see which fits better. Cute skirt. Length was fine. It is shorter in back if you have a little something back there. I ordered my size, 10, and up a size, 12. Keeping the 12 b/c its not as short in back. If you have a lot back there, Ide say order a size up. Or get the one that's elastic in waist. I love the shorts underneath and the high waist. The material is cool. Doesn't stretch though. And the white is a bit see through but b/c there's shorts built in, its ok. Overall I like it. Would order again and would recommend. ... show more

Super cute skirt, great for the price. I got the zip up option instead of the stretchy option. Be aware— the zip waist has very little stretch! I wore the skirt below my natural waist but above my hips. For reference, my natural waist is 26 inches, high hip mark ~37 inches, fullest part of hips ~42 inches. I ordered a size medium and it fit true to size. Actually the sizing was perfect. While the waistband had minimal stretch, the inside shorts are very stretchy. I have a slightly longer torso and inseam, so they rode a little high and tighter than I’d design, but not uncomfortable. I was worried I’d be dealing with a wedgie for my concert, but thankfully that was not an issue. I know some other customers cut the shorts out, and that’s certainly an option worth exploring if you’d like. I appreciated the built in safety measure, no accidental undies seen! Overall it was perfect for the outfit I was constructing, and I would recommend it! It should be said though that I also saw an identical skirt a week later at Spirit Halloween haha, though it was the stretchy version with no undershorts. No regrets though! This is the second high waist pleated skater skirt I've bought from Hoerev. I got this to go with a cute top (pictured) I already had but its color makes it extremely versatile. I'm 5'9" and 165 lbs. and went with the large (12) which fits perfectly. The side zipper seems pretty fragile so I put my skirt on by wriggling into it! There is no stretch to the skirt so be careful when you order (perhaps size up a bit). This skirt does come with inner 'shorts' which is nice because the skirt is pretty short so no peek-a-boos. I got two of the skirts, beige and white. Strangely enough, the sizes were different on them. The beige was tight but I was able to wear it but the white one just did not fit at all. I'm not sure if they are inconsistent with their sizes or if the color makes them different. The length was also a bit long for me. I'm quite short (5'2) so this may not apply to everyone. Love the skirt. Love the quality. It’s nice and thick so it feels very well made. I am probably a true size 8 and so I got the 8 in the skirt and it fits exactly to my body. I wore this out to a Dropkick Murphys concert the other night. It fit like a dream. We even went out for dinner beforehand and it was still comfortable around the waist. It’s not stretchy but it’s not constricting either. The shorts ride up but I don’t ever plan on wearing these without tights so I don’t mind. I’m just glad that that feature exists at all. I’m about 145llbs, 5 foot 3 inches, and bought the medium. I’ll be getting other colors. ... show more
