Don't do what I did. I was redoing a bedroom and didn't open the box until three months after I bought it. I did buy this under the "used, like new" heading, but was still surprised to discover none of the hardware was there. I contacted the company. The customer service department was excellent and I received the hardware in about a week. The bed is so easy to put together that my 8 year-old grandson assembled it all I did was hold some parts. Speaking of parts, after the bed was mostly together I realized we were missing two parts. I winced as I contacted the company again. Got the part in about a week. So. Some people have whined about the quality. The bed frame is cheap. Don't expect something from an Amish store. It's really cheap. I think it's a great price for something that's decent quality. It's sturdy enough that you can tie someone to the headboard and footboard. I've been trying to think of ways to lure my husband into the bed for experimentation, but he has eluded me thus far. ... show more

I bought this bed for an extra bedroom for the grandkids when they visit. It was fairly easy to put together. Although when I first put it together it was very wobbly, then I read another comment on here that said to turn the frame upside down other than what I had it so that the lip of the bed frame was facing downward and the top of the bed frame was flat across with no lip. That was what made it not wobble anymore. Now it's very sturdy. Super cute. And it's exactly what I was looking for. And the price wasn't bad less than $100. ... show more

For the $109 price I received ALMOST what I expected. I say ALMOST because the bed arrived missing the central beam. Luckily my daughter is light so we are able to use the frame without it but wouldn't feel comfortable doing so with a larger person. We did message the company that we were missing parts. Beyond a confirmation though that they received our message, we have heard nothing from them. I will up my review if and when the missing parts arrive but I honestly don't expect it. Update. It took almost 2 months and an email prompting them to get moving but the parts showed up and the bed is complete. No, it is not the best quality but for a quick and cheap bed it looks much better than most. All in all a very good buy for when you don't have to have the best. ... show more

The packaging was crap. They used cheap package tape and one side was open. I had to re-tape it so I could get it up to my 3rd floor apartment. One support was slightly bent so I straightened it. Neither was a big issue so I only deducted one star. Easy to put together, looks decent in the room and everything is still nice and tight despite my often very restless sleep. I'm 165 pounds, 5' 11" and it's long enough and sturdy enough to support my weight. It was the least expensive solution that didn't look cheap paired with a memory foam mattress. The wood posts really dress up the powder coat frame. I'd buy it again but I would suggest the use of a reinforced tape for shipping. ... show more

I took a chance on these, I bought two, because the reviews were mixed. Alot of people say the legs are not all the same length. I noticed while building them that it is very easy to have the one part flipped upside down. Everything will go together, however, the middle legs will be off... Just go back and flip the one part and you have a perfectly flat bed! They are heavy, our shipping service had some issues, so the boxes got beat up. I wish the company would package it into 2 boxes to help fix this issue. ... show more

First, the directions for this bed are rediculous! They essentually have you building the bed upside down, at least the platform part. When you follow the directions, the center supports are too long. To resolve that issue you need to turn the platform over so that the surface is totally flat on top and the recess is on the underside part. Then the center suppost legs will not be too long. I didn't buy this bed expecting to have it be used on a daily basis. My daughter was coming to visit and my spare room was being used. So I transformed the formal dining room to a short term bedroom. Now my daughter is 4' 10" tall and weighs 90 pounds so a super sturdy bed was not a necessity. And....she was only her for 7 days and 6 nights. Now unless Magilla Gorilla joined her in a twin bed when I wasn't watching, the welds breaking on ALL of the center supports and the 2 outside supports is rediculous!!! I have only included one pisture of the broken welds but they all looked the same. Needless this was a hundred dollar throw away bed??? What a waste of money and a POS! Amazon you shouldn't allow this kind of trash to be sold on your sight! ... show more

    • Isn't Perfect But We Like It

We were replacing a lofted bed in my daughter's room. We needed small twin sized bed that didn't require a boxed spring and this one had the look that she wanted for the room. What did I like? The frame arrived as expected and haven't seen any flaws in the quality of the bed--no chips, dings or dents. We didn't have any issues with assembly and all of the pieces were well formed and the holes aligned well for sturdy assembly and tightening. It does feel sturdy during use. What do I dislike? The frame supporting the mattress is a flat platform. It doesn't have a "groove" to set the mattress in so the mattress does tend to slip and move about on the flat platform a little more than I like. The bed itself sets very low to the ground. I suppose it seems lower than our other twin beds because it isn't using a boxed spring--but, it looked more like a toddler bed than a twin. We ended up adding 8 inch bed risers to make it seem less toddler-bed-like. We like it for the price and sturdiness--and we have been able to make it work for our space. I'm so glad I didn't see the bad reviews until after I purchased this bed. It's stable, easy to put together, beautiful and a GREAT value! My husband and I sorted all the pieces and read the instructions. It took us about half an hour. Mostly because allen screws are a little difficult for us.
