Unlike other barefoot shoes, the soles of these lift upwards at the toe. The soles aren't very flexible for a barefoot shoe and don't flex towards the ground at all. As someone who wears only barefoot shoes, this put my feet in a position I'm not used to and made walking uncomfortable. Also, the shoes were too big depth wise once I took the removable insole out. Other than that, if you aren't looking for a true barefoot shoe and you aren't going to be removing the insole, these shoes look like their picture and seem to be fine otherwise. ... show more

These are great shoes and crazy comfortable. I have wide feet and would wear Birkenstocks all year if it didn't get cold, but at some point, I must wear socks. This brand ran large so I had to size down a whole size. I normally wear a woman's 9 or a UK40, and dropped down to a women's size 8 in these and they fit perfectly. My husband teased me that the white shoe with the gum sole looked like old fashioned hard shoe baby's first shoes, but I've gotten many compliments on them. These feel amazing! Not too sure how they will stand the test of time, but seem to be stitched well. The memory foam inserts are very comfy! They give a little better protection against rocks and other objects than the ones without the inserts. Great buy for beginner barefoot shoe wearers! A+++ in my book! ... show more

When I received the shoes, there was a scuff on the painted rubber on the bottom of the outsole. It was tiny, but that proved to me that these shoes wouldn’t keep their quality for longer than around 8 months(with maintenance like polishing and cleaning). They come from China. These shoes are comfy and have a shiny leather finish. They are good for walking in public, shopping, etc. They are not so ideal if you would like to upgrade the formality of your outfit because of the lower quality material it’s made of. ... show more

Appearance is great. Flexibility of the shoe is awesome. Fits true to size, but measure foot first to get right size. I’m a size 7 but in these shoes I’m a 7.5. The shoes are super comfy if you are used to barefoot.

the toebox is very wide, so that's the most important part and it delivers. the color and looks, obviously subjective, is good IMO. The fit is slightly big. the material seems good, it doesn't feel that cheap. only downside, is that the outsole is very very thin, specially in the heel, so, there's no cushion whatsoever, so it's stiff as heck. Size: 14 Wide Women/13 Wide Men Color: Black
I bought 3 pairs in mens 13 wide. All white, brown, and black and white in their faux leather (which is great for animal conscious individuals). Super comfy with very soft insoles. It technically isn't completely zero drop since the toe does rise at an angle but not severe enough to make a difference. If you do want less support or cushion, you can remove the insole but I like it how it is out of the box. The brown shoe had a slight orange tint where the white of the sole and the brown meet on the side of the toe box but for the price, it's not noticable unless looking very closely. ... show more
