These light up and look very nice. They are well made and fit very well. Definitely looks very nice. However the actual letters, numbers, and symbols don't light up at all. If I am in a dark room, I can't see what keys I am pressing. If I had known that, I wouldn't of ordered them. Maybe it states this in the add but I didn't see it. Just just keep this in mind when ordering. In the dark, can only see the design, not what key you are pressing. ... show more

I have a good bit of keycap sets i been collecting for all my keyboards cause i love trying them all out and when i saw these shine through keycaps with waves on them that looks very unique and they have side printed legends which i love on my keyboards so i had to to try them out. When i first got them i always love when keycaps comes in the plastic trays cause those can be reused for your old set of keycaps to store them than while i think these are abs plastic instead of pbt they feel really good for abs they also thick and for these type of shine through keycaps they cant be made with pbt cause the way these are made with the waves shine through prints and once i had them on one of my keyboards i picked to put them on which is a 75% board. They feel good to type on and the shine through is great and looks really beautiful the shine through on each key cap is perfect and the wave print is great to look at with single color or even full rgb colors and even and side prints for the legends which is also shine through is nice and clear and easy to read i also like that the arrow keys has a rough texture finish to them. If you looking for a set of keycaps that is really nice to look at and that is very unique these are worth giving them a try cause i glad i saw them and pick them cause I have no complaints with these keycaps and probably the best looking keycap set i have i really love them👍 ... show more

    • Nice side printed keycaps with ocean waves design

These side print keycaps make for a nice addon for your keyboard. The material and keystrokes with the keycaps installed feel nice and have a decent sound to them while typing with. The escape key and direction keys have raised triangle texture, though the spacebar did not have this texturing like in the advertised images for this pattern. The font is nicely legible and better sized compared to other side print keycaps I've tried. The side cutouts capture most of the LED lighting making the print legible in light and dark environments. The visibility is ok with north facing LEDs and would be even better with south facing LEDs. The printed ocean waves design brings an interesting break from plain keys with just letters on them. The waves pattern take the colors from RGB lighting pretty well. The design works decently with various lighting patterns and modes. The designs do cut and cover an amount of key legends, but aren't too bad for touch typists. You get plenty of keys in the set for full sized keyboards, including miscellaneous function and command keys, as well as a couple different alternative patterns for other shaped or positioned keys to try and match them to the pattern across the rest of the board. The windows keys are labeled as "Code". All of the keycaps come arranged in plastic trays for easy keycap swaps and installation. ... show more

The keys sound and feel like PBT keycaps, but I've never heard of the IMD technology bit. The keycaps themselves feel of good quality. The specific one I got- the white spider web- does NOT have textured keys at all, which I am personally quite happy for since I am not much of a keyboard gamer these days. Light shine-through on the spider web design on the keycaps really well, but do not shine through on the black print south facing legends. The legends themselves look super clean and legible and them being south-facing means they are less prone to wear even if not doubleshot. Black font legends on white keycaps can't really go wrong. The legends even look good in the dark too. For the value, I'd say this is quite nice on a budget if the RGB spiderweb is your thing and you want those legends visible in the dark. ... show more

These are really pretty keycaps, I love the topographic look but I really dislike the textured WASD and space bar, I know they do that for gaming but for those of use who want a keyboard for typing it is a sensory nightmare, the other issue I have with it is far more universal and damming though and that is that the legend is just screen printed on the keycaps... What is the point of having shine through keycaps if you need to keep a light on to make sure you're hitting the right keys?? ... show more
