  • Awesome Harness!! Did snap though
This harness is awesome!! I ordered it for my Ymir cosplay and was SO excited to wear it! It did take me like 45 minutes to figure it out, and one of the straps did snap. But, it's def fixable, so overall awesome!!

  • Not for plus size
Not made for plus size people. I’m 5,8 and a little over 200 lbs, and I have thick thighs. When I tried pulling the leg straps over my knees it snapped. And a lot of the belt pieces don’t stretch enough. I haven’t fixed it since but I plan to get elastic and sew it on the leather so it stretches. But it is good quality! Just not made for plus size people ... show more

  • Not for thicc girls
I am 5'9", 160ish pounds. This does not fit me. There is not enough strap length to go around my hips, and the legs and torso straps are too short for comfort. Am I disappointed? Yes. Did I buy this simply so I could have a base design and make one that fit me of a better material? Yes. I would have loved for it to fit me, but as a one size fits all I guess I'm not your average scout. Honestly though... Flying around in ODM gear requires an incredible amount of muscle strength that I'm surprised everyone's thighs are not shown WAY thicker than they are. The straps are moderately durable, if you get them too tight the holes are not going to last long at all, but again, I didn't buy this for durability. I just didn't want to draft the entire pattern from scratch. ... show more

  • Unsure
I will take the time to practice. It is frustrating to put it on. Towards the end when trying to loop everything together was difficultand complicated and im a lil thicker so i didnt have a lot of strap to work with. I was ready for this to be complicated but I also got different buckles than what i keep seeing on all the pics from reviews. If it's even considered a buckle its reall small. It makes it extra difficult to loop all the straps. idk how to feel about it yet. I'll keep practicing see if my review goes up. ... show more

  • Instructions not clear, Cheaply made
Product was entirely made of imitation leather, which i expected. However, because of this the back plate wouldn't stay straightened out, and it kept folding on itself whenever I tried to put it on my back. Also the instructions on how to put all of the straps on correctly are in another language, and even the translated instructions weren't too clear. The pictures were very small so I couldn't even go off of those, so I ended up looking up reference images online to try and figure out what was going on. It took me around about 2 hours to figure it all out, and then finally when I did, I put it all on and nothing actually fit properly except the calf/thigh straps. The only way to save time on putting all of this back on would be to keep everything assembled and squirm out of it when you're done using it. All in all, great product if you don't care about quality, if you have a few hours to spend, and if you're not a 2 meter titan. ... show more

  • Very satisfied! Well worth the cost!
First of all, I think the reviews have been pretty monotonous in regards to mentioning, "ThE iNsTrUcTiOnS aRe ImPoSsIBlE tO rEaD", or "iT tOoK mE fOrEvEr To PuT iT oN". With that being said, I'm going to get to the part that I feel is of most importance: the quality of the actual harness. I was VERY pleased with the material, coloration, durability, texture, etc. The buckles look authentic and true to the ones seen on screen, the brown leather* color is spot on, the gray parts look great, all the "for looks" buttons look great, all the snaps work, and all the parts were included. Additional details for if you're picky like me: - I was well pleased with how the buckles have a more "worn" appearance, rather than a bright, shiny, polished metal appearance that I'd seen on other cosplays. *- I read reviews saying that the harness was real leather-- though for that cheap of a price, I was expecting it to not be. However, the parts did come out of the bags smelling a lot like real leather. I think the back side is thin leather, with the front/exposed side being the pleather. INSTRUCTIONS/ASSEMBLY/OVERALL FIT: 1. We have established that the instructions are not exactly step-by-step. However, they are not as bad as everyone has made them out to be. If you're a parent trying to get your child (though I hope they're older), tween, or teen into this beast of a harness and have never seen the show... yes. You will be very confused. However, one quick search on YouTube for a tutorial, and you'll be good to go. If you bought the harness for yourself and are very familiar with the show (which I hope you are, being that you're thinking about forking out $30+ on a rather ~interesting~ looking harness) you should already have a relative idea of how it goes together in all honesty. The final steps (connecting the leg straps and the back straps and passing them under, over, and through the slits and openings in the back) are the hardest part. That's about the only part I had to watch a tutorial for. 2. As far as fit goes, I'm about a size 00 and as far as height goes, "I'm not short, I'm Levi sized" . I definitely had some pieces that I had at least 6-8" to trim off. Because of this, parts of the harness (under the arms and the connecting belts) come a little closer/touch. I don't mind, as I often have to resize things for myself anyways.) 3. I mainly got it to cosplay Captain Levi as he is seen in the Kenny arc of S3. Therefore, I don't need the full calf/leg belts anyways. Though figuring out my own way of tucking/hiding the straps meant to connect down to the legs was interesting. It took a good bit of picture/model figure referencing. Anyways, I hope this helps somebody. Have fun! ... show more

  • Beware big thigh-havers, but otherwise pretty good!
I've attached some pics to show my body type + what it looks like on me for those of you who might be built similarly. I'm about 150 lbs, 5'8". My thighs and butt are pretty large and are most of my weight, so if you are built thiccer than me, you might find yourself in a bit of a pickle. The thigh straps just barely fit me, and honestly I had to put spanx on to make it look better. Thick thighs save lives, so I guess we know why the survey corps kept dying 😔. They aren't that bad to put on at all IMO, just follow along with the video and try to run through it a few times before the day you have to wear it. Pretty durable honestly; I was surprised. Tbh it's worth it for SURE if you're smaller than me. In the future I will likely try to make my own, but for now this worked pretty well. Also if you have sciatica/nerve pain in your leg(s), this might have you in agony while you're wearing it. But I also have issues with skinny jeans triggering it too, so just know your limits lol. Anyway, hope I could help! ... show more
