This is a beautiful urn. It is metal, not wood, although the "wood grain" is quite striking. The silver work is attractive and overall, it is nicely crafted. The urn seems quite sturdy, but the crematorium managed to somehow "ding" the surface in two spots; just two tiny round dints, but no longer perfect. Many of our friends and family have commented on how well the urn 'suits' my husband. I was unable to find another urn, for any price, that captured 'who' he was as well as this one does. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase, just not able to give 5 stars for the sturdiness due to the 'dings' now mar it's surface. ... show more
