My daughter wanted this bike. When it was delivered via Amazon the side of the box was smashed and the front wheel was bent. There was no way it could be used. Whenever we turned the wheel the brake stopped it without ever pressing on it from the handle. I contacted Hiland (it was the mint green bike and therefore not from Amazon) and they confirmed that it indeed need replaced. I requested it via Amazon but somehow my replacement was cancelled. Not sure what happened but Hiland sent me a new bike via another carrier. This bike was perfect. I was happy to know that they valued good customer service and definitely took care of me. My son just turned 9 and he gives it 5 stars! Its easy to ride and the perfect size. He's just about 4'10 tall and the size is perfect. It does require a little bit of assembly, but if my husband can do it, so can you, lol. Great bang for the buck!

I consider myself fortunate. The box was roughed up a bit but the contents were in good shape. The thickness and density of the double wall construction should be upgraded. The quality of the bicycle is quite good. The fit and finish are also very good. I didn't see any damage while putting it together. It was reasonably easy to put together. The preload on the front axel was excessive and need to be reduced. The spreader on the front forks was an excellent way to protect the forks. I can recommend this to others seeking a reasonably priced bicycle. ... show more

2 of the 3 bikes we bought from here broke. This one in particulars brake dangerously came apart as my child was trying to brake and fell over and scraped her knee. Extremely furious with this!

Replied within 24h and began process for getting new tire and due to the fact it would take some time in shipping they offered to send new bike which would be much more timely. The box arrived damaged and not until I installed the front rim did the damage really become visible. I reached out for assistance and was asked to take the rim to a local bikeshop for straightening. The rim was true'd to the best of the mechanic ability, but he was concerned that the spokes were much to tight and it could cause further issues. He recommended, rim replacement. Sadly, rim replacement is not supported, so I returned the bicycle. ... show more
