Installed these against our side of our neighbor's chain link fence with the spikes going through the bottom of their fence because their dog keeps digging out and escaping and they haven't managed to find a solution that worked. So far these have the great escape artist stymied. They were easy to get into the ground using a rubber mallet and a board to prevent bending. The only issue was if it hit a rock or root. But using a pair of bolt cutters and simply cutting the obstructed spike down shorter handled that issue easily. If these continue to work well, they want to order more to cover all the fence areas that are potential digging areas. ... show more

    • Hoping to keep out the chickens

The ground is frozen solid here but I got these to help keep the neighbor's chickens out of my roses. I was surprised by the weight of the box. This fencing seems to be very sturdy. Can't wait to install it.

The media could not be loaded. We have a fence but there is one tiny area where the spindles are a little too far from the post. See video. We have a small fat dog - but apparently not quite fat enough - who figured out that she could squeeze her rotund body thru this fence section and escape. These guards will be perfect to block her and foil her devious plans for freedom from a warm bed and all the treats she could want. The bottom prongs on these are bendable by hand - so if you had a really strong animal, this might not work. Luckily, our dog is all flab and no muscle, so that’s not a concern for us. It comes with zip ties and connectors to secure it(see pics). Great for our needs. ... show more
