I read some reviews for this before I ordered it and some people said it was flimsy. In my opinion, it isn't flimsy at all. I was expecting this to be made with metal similar in gauge to a coat hanger. A coat hanger is usually 14 to 15 gauge, and I don't have any means to measure, but I would guess this is 12 to 13 gauge. It isn't a lot bigger by measurement, but every tiny bit bigger diameter greatly increases it's strength. These are roughly 13 inches high and 17 inches long. The grid spacing between the metal legs is approx 2 1/4 inches. When you butt these end to end you pretty much keep that grid spacing. Mine came with 14 panels, times 17 inches = 19.833 feet long. I have a compost bin that is 4 feet by 6 feet, and for the first 9 years no critters got past the chicken wire that was only on the vertical surface. Last year I had critters getting in, so I dug 6 inches of topsoil away and put in a 16 inch wide piece of chicken wire around the perimeter, laying it horizontally. Little buggers are still getting in. So this will be installed at the intersection of vertical and horizontal chicken wire, and go 13 inches deep. I hope this works, I will find out in the spring if it does or not. ... show more

This fencing is no good. I have multiple of such no dig fencing sets and this is the worst of them. It is the shortest and the thinnest and the flimsiest. It got all bent while I was trying to get it into the ground and it will definitely not withstand any animal pressure. Based on my experience I cannot recommend it. ... show more

    • Bit flimsy but does the job

My dog and the neighbors dog just go crazy at each other. It has been hard to dissuade them from jumping at the fence- not to mention there is trees blocking humans from going back there. After fighting the trees and installing these the dogs seem to have lost some interest in each other- which I am grateful for. These are a little flimsy with the legs on the bottom especially if a rock is present, but they've helped! So overall I'm grateful. ... show more

    • Plenty of panels to fortify my Sentinel coop

After losing all my chickens to predators despite taking great pains to fortify my homemade chicken coop and run, I decided to buy a Pilgrim's Pride Sentinel coop for my backyard. The coop and run are are either wooden or covered with hardware cloth. Still, I know that predators can dig underneath the edges of the run if they are determined to do so. I am pleased that this 14-panel pack is plenty to drive into the ground all the way around the coop so that critters after my chickens cannot dig under the run and get to my peeps. The ends are not the sharpest in the world, and I'm dealing with having to drive them into clay, so I'll probably use a long drill bit or sharp stake to get the holes started. These are a great value. Very sturdy and heavy. Worked perfectly to line our fence, to keep our dogs in. Similar weight of steel as a normal dog kennel. Went into the ground easily for installation.
