Be careful where you open the bag, these treats have hundreds of crumbs that’ll catch on your hand no matter how new or old the bag is. If you have curious pets who are likely to lick up bits on clothes or the ground this probably isn’t the best treat to have. It’s also kind of irritating on a human level to try and eat something more crumbly or drier than a coffee cake. What I've discovered about keto cookies is that it seems to be relatively easy to make them low-carb and to taste good, but it's the texture/consistency that is hard. These guys somehow nailed it! These little cookies definitely taste like the real thing, and have a really good texture. Crunchy, but not "shatter into a thousand pieces" crunchy like some other brands. The bag says serving size is six pieces, 28 grams. But I weighed them on my scale and it only takes five pieces to reach 28 grams, not six. The taste is pretty good, above average for low-sugar keto-friendly fare. They're exaggerating a bit with the "net carbs" thing, but that's par for the course. The bag says six pieces is 2 grams of net carbs. My measurements say the reality is that five pieces equals 4 carbs. Still, I like these a lot because I haven't found any better options for keto-friendly pie crust. When I make keto cheesecake or chocolate pie, I crumble up a bag or two of these cookies (either chocolate or snickerdoodle) and press the crumbs right into the pie tin, without any extra sugar or butter. More often, I simply sprinkle the crumbs over my yogurt. Thanks to products like this, I've lost 30 pounds in two years. I can indulge a little and it isn't cheating on my diet. If you're expecting them to taste like real brownies, you'll be disappointed. Also, they aren't exactly brownie-like. They're more crunchy than brownies, kinda like Oreos with no white stuff. Update: I found another way to enjoy these cookies, especially the brownie bites flavor. Put a teaspoon of peanut butter on the flat side of each cookie. Yum! I went keto about a month ago and I've really enjoyed making my own snacks but the problem with most homemade snacks I've found is they don't have a very long shelf life even when kept in the fridge and I'm the only person in my household so I have no one to help me finish them haha. On top of this, I live in a tiny home with a mini fridge so I need most of the room for my fresh ingredients for meals, etc. That leaves me with a constant snack on hand of basically nuts (and cheese) and while I love my superseedz sometimes you just want a REAL guilty pleasure snack.. sans the guilt. I've tried the HighKey cheese snacks before and I wasn't a fan (but to be fair I find any keto cheese snacks to taste weird). I ordered the chocolate chip cookies first and LOVED them so I immediately ordered these too.... They're good, but not as good as the chocolate chip imo. While the brownie bites taste more true to real brownies than I think the cookies do to cookies, I find these to be incredibly sweet. Like so sweet if I eat one whole portion (6 cookies) I feel sick. In hindsight this is probably a good thing as I'm never eating a full portion in one sitting so I will definitely still be keeping these as a staple treat in my pantry from here on out! If you have a really big sweet tooth (I've always been more of a crunchy/salty girl myself) and you're on a keto/low carb diet these bites are definitely the ones for you!!! ... show more
