  • The fan was very impressive.
Style: 120mm X 38mm
Very reasonably priced and works great in my chicken coop. The summer was so hot it absolutely saved my chickens! I recommend this fan for anyone with animals!

  • Affordable fan runs forever
Style: 120mm X 38mm
It is small but moved an amazing amount of air for its size. Installed it in our chicken’s hen house to move air and smell out and reduce the heat.

  • Keeps my chickens cool
Style: 120mm X 38mm
I purchased this for the chicken coop. I notice the chickens are already lined up closer to where the fan blows before I hang it up each evening so I think they are enjoying it. :-)

  • Good little fan. Moves decent about of air.
Style: 120mm X 38mm
I bought this to create some air flow in my chicken coop to help with the heat and keep mosquitoes off my chickens. It moves a decent amount of air for the size and work great with my smaller coop. If you have a medium to large coop I would recommend getting more than one and possibly use one as a vent fan to circulate air. I can't say how weather proof it is because my coop is under a mostly covered run. But it has been outside for months with no issues. ... show more

  • This fan BLOWS
Style: 172mm X 51mm
So far, I think this is a pretty awesome little fan. I needed to replace the bathroom ceiling exhaust fan in my motorhome because the internal wiring that runs through the ceiling had become shorted. So I needed something that was small enough to fit in the 12" square ceiling vent, something that could be mounted horizontally, something lightweight, that plugged into a 110 wall outlet and was industrial grade. This turned out to be perfect in all those required areas. The only problem I had was the length of the cord supplied is only 5feet 8 inches in length and I needed a longer cord to reach the wall outlet. I had some scrap wire that worked fine and just used some soldering shrink connectors to add some extra length. Assembling the fan was a piece of cake. You only really need to screw on the metal mesh covers (two screws and a nut on each side. The cord comes with a simple push button wire connector. So you clip the cord on to the two wires coming from the fan and that's it. The fan has two screw holes (with a third that you would need to drill out yourself) on the collet of either side. Now, I'm being a bit fussy here, but the pre-drilled mounting holes on each side, are in a really dumb position. Instead of being located on opposite ends of the fan. They are both located on the same end of the fan and on both sides. So you can only secure one side of the fan to the wall or ceiling. I'm sorry but that's just stupid. There is a potential third hole that you could technically drill out yourself with a small drill bit, located on the edge of the collet. And there are two pre-drilled mounting holes located on the side of the fan spaced about 2 inches apart. (Which again is so stupid.) You may or may not be able to use the two side mounting holes. It entirely depends on your situation and what you plan to attach it to. Regardless, of it's stupid mounting method. I was able to make it work. Anyone with a tiny bit of skill with a drill and screw driver should be able to as well. The power of air that this fan pushes is impressive. It is marked with an airflow arrow and fan blade rotation arrow so you know which side to mount where. It's a bit on the heavy side, and creates a fair amount of vibration, so I would suggest making sure you secure it nice and tight with good screws and a wing nut or equivalent. There are screws and nuts supplied with it. There were NO assembly instructions or any kind of manual. Only a small piece of paper with the sellers email, stating a free 1 year replacement for mechanical defects. A telephone number for Amazon's customer service for returns or replacements and an installation tip that the wiring doesn't require lining up positive and negative wires when connecting the power cord with the power switch. The switch only has an on or off mode. However, if you look at the products info page, it shows that you can optionally use a power cord with a dimmer/speed adjustment knob if you wish. You can pick those up at hardware stores for a few bucks. It does warn that your power supplied must not exceed 120v or else you will burn up the motor. I quote: "Not up to 140v, will burn!" The product claims to have an average life span of 50,000 hours. So for example if you ran this fan 24 hours a day (let's hope you don't!) you should get approximately 2,083 days or 5.7 years of use out of it. It's a powerful little fan and I look forward to seeing how well it holds up over the next few months. I always update my reviews when/if a product fails. So at this time, I recommend it and I think the price is awesome. ... show more

  • Perfect for an apartment with no cross ventilation
Style: 172mm X 51mm
I live in a large apartment building and all of the windows are on one side, the building itself is a negative pressure building and there is no way for cross ventilation. I have tried just about everything from air exchanging via fans in the window and nothing has provided enough breeze to remove the air. When I came across this item, I figured that I would try an "industrial" ventilation system. Even though this is meant for a chicken house, it has worked better than anything else that I have tried for exchanging air; and it moves a lot of air for the size. It only has one speed, either on or off so there is a little noise associated with it but not much more than a regular fan. You need to assemble the wiring which I assume was done so you can choose to hard wire the device into you current system or use as a plug in which is how I am using it. At first I was wondering why there was not black (negative) wire to match to the connector, but the connector is universal and you don't have to worry about crossing the positive and negative wires unless you are hard wiring the device. Overall I am impressed that this thing is so small, but has done what no other fan could do that I have tried. ... show more

  • What absolute junk
Style: 120mm X 38mm
Do not buy!! Waste of money. This is my third one of these. Each from different makers. The first died after a couple of months, the second had a plug and socket on the cord. Two different sizes. Could not connect. This one uses a weird spring clip to connect the wire ends. This cannot met electrical code and to plug you are supposed to plug into the wall, has two different length prongs and neither ones is long enough to engage the wall outlet. For me this is the third strike, and i will never again try to find one of these fans here on this site. ... show more
