I have 4 kids and I never bought a wipe warmer because they have always been suggested to be a useless purchase. Baby #4 HATES cold baby wipes. I bought my hiccapop wipe warmer for my elderly mother because she could not stand the cold wipe on her skin. She loved this warmer and we have used it multiple times a day but it quit heating for some reason and I emailed them as it had a lifetime warranty and they were so wonderful. Wanted to try this warmer for our newborn since it can get a bit cold in our room and the baby really doesn't like cold wipes. It does warm the wipes (mostly at the top of the wipe stack) so it does it job. Usually the first few wipes are warm and then the temperature starts to trail off pretty quick. I would say maybe by the time you get to the 5th wipe it no longer really feels warm anymore. Usually that's enough for a typical change, but thought I would say it in case people typically use more for their changes. The light on it is good to add a little light to the room, but its not really bright enough to check to see if the baby is fully clean. It is more like a soft night light. The latch is also a bit weird to use at first, but it does latch close and it stays secure. Overall I took a star off for the latching mechanism and the inability to really keep more than about 3-4 warm wipes before they start noticing a rapid temperature difference. Update: About 1 yr of use and part of the rubber around the opening where you pull the wipes out tore off. It still kept the top couple of wipes warm but not as warm as before. I did notice the edges of the wipes turning a little yellow and a white film on the inside of the lid after the rubber broke off. I contacted their customer service and emailed a picture of the damage and proof of purchase. I was able to quickly get a replacement free of charge. Excellent customer service. ... show more

I love it! Add a tiny bit of water like the manual says if it’s not moist enough. It keeps wipes warm, and doesn’t dry them out. It’s been going 9 weeks strong so far. Stop reading reviews and just buy it.

    • Won’t work with Water Wipes

The machine itself works well. It does keep the wipes warm but because I use water wipes, they get cold very fast. They are also not a continuous feed wipe so they do not pull through the top. I have to open the whole thing and pull one at a time. If it’s a middle of the night diaper change and I forget to shut it, the wipes are SO cold. I have boxes and boxes of water wipes so I’m not even sure what to do at this point. It’s a great price point for the quality. I’m considering keeping it and looking into an alternate wipe that will work. ... show more

This is one of the items you don’t think you’ll need because it sounds luxurious but when your baby is screaming in the middle of the night bc of a cold wet wipe, you’ll be glad you have this! Was so wonderful we got two, one for each floor. After six months one stopped working. I contacted customer service since there’s a lifetime warranty and they responded so quickly and sent a replacement within days! Could not recommend more! ... show more
