I hate the stink of memory foam. I really hope the chemical smell goes away “in a few day” as suggested in the literature that came with this mattress topper. I expected the smell. It’s memory foam. The thing is heavy! I forgot to expect this, but should have. I can move it around but it’s a bit of a struggle. Awkward and heavy. We got it to be able to sleep downstairs on the floor with our dog when she is injured. This has happened a few times and sleeping on the floor is brutal. The mattress hasn’t fully come back into shape yet (lit. Says it’s supposed to take 48 hours) but I laid down on it and it is already soooo much better than the floor. So far so good. I liked this product, I just noticed that it never really filled out the way it should have. I'm not sure if maybe something happened when they were compressing it, but the actual mattress squares just never puffed up to fill the cover the way it appears in photos. I did give it a few days to puff up, and it was comfortable just laying it on my tile floor and laying on it. As a plus size side sleeper though, it's not really something I could use for more than an hour or so without feeling the floor through it. We were looking to step up our sleepover comfort for my kids friends that enjoy staying at our house. We came cross this queen folding mattress and boy are we happy. First off the mattress is rolled up in an airtight plastic film. You need 48 hours until the mattress expands to the proper size. If you plan to open and use the same day it won't happen. Next it's a trifold mattress which is very easy to store away when not in use for guests or family. The comfort of the memory foam is excellent and the mattress is soft but not that firm. It does have some weight so I would recommend storing this on the same level of your home for easy access. Lastly my kids friends slept on it and two teenage girls fit easily. We understand the cost is high for this mattress but we highly recommend this mattress compared to blowup mattress that don't last as long. ... show more

So far I love the mattress. It's just as described in the listing. It takes around 24 hours to fully expand even though they say to give it 48 hours. The little card in the packet was very helpful. It said to unzip the cover slightly to allow the foam mattress to expand. The zippers are dug into the crevices so it was difficult for me to see at first but I found them. In terms of firmness the mattress is in between soft and firm. If you've never had a foam mattress it's a little different than a coil mattress. The foam really molds to your body. It can take some getting used to. This is our second time getting a foam mattress. They can be difficult to get out of if you have a platform or low to ground bed. I really like how this mattress folds into three and is easy to carry. Coil mattresses are rigid and difficult for one person to carry. This mattress is light enough to be carried, moved or dragged by one person. ... show more
