Overall I have little to complain about, but the material is not firm or form-holding as I expected. This works great for overnight guests as-is, but if you or guests intend to use this more regularly or with a frame/boxspring, then I highly recommend atleast a 3" mattress pad on top so you don't sink into the folds. With a 3" mattress pad I think this mattress is more comfortable than mattresses in the $500-$1000 range. Well worth the price. ... show more

Bought two twin size and they are perfect. You have to unzip and encourage it to expand and fluff, but after you do that it’s incredibly comfortable. Plan to purchase a queen size for camping!

After two air mattresses failed on me, I relented and bought something actually bed-like that would last forever. My adult kids and cat sitters LOVE it. It takes up room even when folded but it's a compromise having to only buy it once for the comfort of my guests. And I would have folded it up and put it away but I'm lazy. So lazy that I actually haven't ordered a real mattress in my own antique bed frame (which is apart anyway because I rescued kittens and made them a cat room and now it's just their room after a year and I sleep in the couch). I digress... I'm sleeping on this mattress now which I paired with a pillow top cover. It's dreamy. Every night I fall asleep quickly and comfortably. Even the cats love it. Since I love the one I bought for guests, I'm buying one for myself, even though it's a folding mattress, and ESPECIALLY because it folds! And why don't ALL mattresses fold?! Wouldn't it make life easier to get it in the house and up the stairs without "PIVOT! PIVOT!"...? At such a low price, all I have to add is a decent box spring and I get comfort while spending less. Seriously...two mattresses, pillow-top cover and box spring for less than one giant mattress? Yes, please! And I get my bedroom back (or the cats get a giant launch pad). We LOVE this purchase. We got 2 and lay them on top of each other when we go to bed, but during the day we can have a living room set up. I’ve taken the cover off and washed it. Was surprised to find 3 separate foam pads. Idk why I thought it was a whole unit😂 but it was easy to put back on! The firm level is PERFECT. I’m 202lbs and have back issues and sleep very well on this. We’ve had it on the floor for 6mo so far and no mold or deterioration issues. When it arrived we honestly just let them “rise” for maybe 4-5 hours and then when they looked decent we folded them up and just set it on its side and didn’t lay in it for a full 24 hours. It opened up to 6” like it states. There was a small tear in the cover upon arrival, but an easy fix since I know how to sew so. I thought sleeping with cracks would be weird, but I’ve gotten used to it and it doesn’t cause issues with my back. Definitely recommend! ... show more
