I love the look of these Hey Dudes. They fit just a bit snug on the top compared to other Hey Dudes I've gotten in the same size. I'm hoping the "break them in" will do the trick. I would definitely not got the extra size up for this as I know it will run too big on me. This is the third time I wear them and they are a bit more comfortable now (from the top part). I love hey dudes in general and thought I would try some of there tennis shoe style shoes. They are really well made and hold up excellent (I’m a little rough on shoes). They have such a cute Leopard pattern on the back heel. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them. They are a little stiff when you first wear them and not quite as comfortable as traditional hey dudes, but it’s not like they caused blisters or sores just not like the traditional style and fit. The style of the shoe itself is great, and the crochet on the sides is adorable. It gives a little more support for walking than the traditional hey dude style (which I also love). They are super lightweight, but slightly heavier than my other moccasin-style pair. I wear a women’s 11 in every other brand of shoe, but in Hey Dudes, I wear a 10. You may want to size down a half size or a full size if you’re in between. BUT. I paid for brand new shoes, yet received a pair that had clearly been worn. The soles were dirty and there was an oily mark on the inner sole of one of them. They came with no tags and in a regular cardboard box rather than a shoebox. I don’t mind the general fact that they’ve been worn, because it’s clearly light use; however, I paid for brand new ones and did not receive what I paid for. It’s too much of a hassle to exchange them, and I specifically bought them to wear on a trip in two days and I need them, so I’ll keep them because they’re cute and comfortable. I just would not have paid $50 for used shoes in any other circumstance. ... show more

They’re so cute! But why does no one talk about the weird ridge in the footbed of Hey Dudes?!?! It was so uncomfortable! Unless your toes are in just the right spot, it feels so weird. And since Hey Dudes come in whole sizes only, it’s unlikely that it’ll be a perfect fit for most people! I did dutifully measure my foot size as they suggested & bought accordingly.
