Ordered these for two reasons; to see what all the rave was about and also to have a pair of more casual shoes on hand; they definitely exceeded my expectations. First off, measure your foot! These are sized so strange and if I had ordered my regular size they would not have fit. I took the advice of other reviewers and the company itself and measured before ordering. So if you're considering these, grab a pencil, a piece of printer paper, and a ruler. Place your foot on the paper and draw a line at the top of your foot where your longest toe stops and another behind your heel, then use your ruler to measure the length and check your measurements against their sizes; if you're in between their measurements, choose the closest size down for a more snug fit, or choose the closest size up for a looser fit. It's that easy! I am a standard size 8 and my feet are very slender, but my measurements were closer to their size 7 and since I wanted to be able to wear these without socks I ordered the size 7. They fit perfect! I still have plenty of room in these shoes and they are adjustable. By slightly tightening the toggles these fit snug to my slender feet without socks, and loosening them all the way I'm able to wear these with socks as well. Don't overtighten the toggles, it will aggravate the tops of your feet if you do. These are low profile shoes, which is exactly what I wanted. They're not bulky at all and work great with practically any attire. The insoles are nice and thick and offer plenty of support and the shoes do have a slight arch as well. Comfortable for all day wear and they have nice tread on the bottoms that worked great on a rainy day; no slipping or sliding at all. These are very lightweight too. I ordered the blue and they're more of a marbled color, it really pops in the sunlight. So pleased with the style and comfort that I'll be ordering more colors very soon! I got some of these for my 80 year old mother, who has horrible arthritis and bunions on her feet! I have some, and they feel like slippers while wearing, as they have a wider toe box, and adjustable laces. She is usually very finicky about shoes because of all the failed attempts we have had trying to find some shoes that work. She LOVES them, and wears them whenever she goes out. The sole also has lots of traction, so I feel better about her being safe, and not having falls! That’s the only thing that matters. They are also the perfect price, and won’t break the bank! They’re her go-to for quick trips to the store or whenever she needs shoes that are easy to slip on and off. The price is great, the quality is solid, and the comfort lives up to Hey Dude’s reputation. PRO TIP: Remove the insoles, slip a low-rise sock over them, and put them back in.
