We got this for our 11 year old. Size 12 fits good with some extra room to grow. It worked really well for 61° water. The colors are as advertised. Getting it on and off was as easy as it is to get any wetsuit on or off :) for the price this is an awesome kids wetsuit and I would recommend it.

I have never written a product review and take the reviews for a product with a grain of salt. However, after our trip this past June to Surry, Maine and Ogunquit, Maine where water temps ranged from 45 degrees to 55 degrees...well, I had to give my feedback on these wet suits for my 4 year old and 7 year old. First, size guide/chart is helpful and accurate. I purchased the suits based on the manufactured size recommendations. The suits are durable and well made! I am very impressed with the quality. And most importantly, they do what they were intended to do. Both of my children swam in those frigid Maine waters and were not cold. No blue lips or chattering teeth...in fact they swam for hours at a time. Parents and grandparents at the beach thought the wet suits were amazing and a great idea. When I would unzip the wetsuits the heat coming off their body and the inside of the wetsuit was unbelievable. Wet suits should let a small amount of water in between the suit and the body. Your body temp warms the water and that is what keeps you warm....great product! Highly recommend! Makes a Maine vacation so much more enjoyable for everyone! ... show more

We bought this for our 10 year old son. He has some healing 3rd degree burns on most of his body so this was a great suit for him to wear and protect his skin and still be able to enjoy the beach like other children. It fits true to size, very good quality for the money especially in comparison to similar name brand items that are $100 or more. He is able to move around freely without restrictions. My kid has worn these a few tunes to SUP down the very chilly Arkansas River in Colorado. They keep her way more comfortable temperature-wise. If it's hot out, she just dunks into the river. So far, so good! My kid is 5'3" tall about about 90 lbs, and we bought size 14. It's pretty snug, but still fits. Maybe could have gone with the 14x or 16. ... show more

This wetsuit is good for my son's swimming classes . We went to the YMCA to have a swimming class every weekend. You know in winter in Wisconsin , although there is heat in the swimming pool, but the water is still cold for the kids , I am trying to buy a wetsuit for him to wear , and this one fits him perfect ! It surprised me that this price can buy such a good quality one. My son is 5 years old and we chose the size 6, which fit him perfectly. It is soft and warm . My son likes it very much. Last Saturday , he had been wearing it in the swimming pool , he played in the water for a long time and he did not feel cold any more . This is our first time to buy the wetsuit , we are happy for this one. The kids grow very fast , and I think we will buy another one , HEVTO is a good brand , we strongly recommend !!!!!!! This is a top notch suit but my 8 year old is skinny and tall, it was pretty small for her. I ended up sending it back twice. Sizing is not so accurate.
