This purse looks much more expensive than it cost. It looks sturdy and well made. I’ve carried it every day since it arrived. It is so classy looking. The medium is plenty big enough for me. I carry my wallet, keys, phone, and a zipper bag full essentials, like Kleenex, lipstick, comb, hand sanitizer, etc. I would consider the medium a purse and not a tote. If you want a tote, then. I love this bag so much. It feels, looks and functions perfectly all the time. The quality is so nice and the weight distributes very well. I love that all the bag straps are removable. The only thing I did to improve it was shorten the longer shoulder strap. it was super easy and the leather held up very well. So... I dunno. First of all its very large. It should have been apparent from the measurements and comments, so my bad. I'm 4'9". Not sure how this will work out but if I use it primarily for work that will likely be best as I cant see myself lugging this around the mall or on vacation. Second it is very heavy. I can't really imagine carrying this around full. Third, the cross body startup is very narrow. I think it will hurt due to the weight of the bag. Fourth, feet on the bottom. Really make is look kind of weird and luggage like. Fifth honestly not totally sold on the leather being real if I'm being honest. It smells like leather, but the smell is easy to fake. It looks pretty good but I'm super suspicious because the little attached swatch is completely different in color and texture. Sixth the interior... I'd rather have more side pockets than the giant zippered center pocket but, the inside is well sewn with a thick lining fabric. Seventh it does look very nice. I really like the way it looks, other than the feet on the bottom of course. I'll probably keep it even though I really wanted something smaller. I certainly won't be embarrassed to carry it. Eighth value. I paid $80 and honestly it is with at least that and looks like it's more valuable than that. To boot with it not being a "brand" and it being only $80, I'm not going to freak out when it gets scratched and banged up the same as I have on the past over my $400 bags. Update: first day using it and it is really nice for work. It holds everything I need and then some. The handles are a very good size for getting ones arm through and carrying the bag with out it being too droopy or too tight. Further the color looks fantastic in natural light. Inside my house it looked straight up brown, but in better lighting it has the gradation of color seen in the pictures making this bag gorgeous. ... show more

This bag (black) is quite beautiful. The leather is lovely. No marks on leather, no nicks on hardware. Zippers open and close very smoothly. I have a 13" computer that slips in effortlessly along with all my other junk. No downsizing necessary for me with this bag. It's not gigantesque, which I was worried about. The over-the-shoulder strap is long enough for me (I'm 5'10"). The bag is stable with enough stuff in it - if not, it'll fall over. Purses and bags like this are a completely new experience. I've really only ever carried backpacks. One was a small Coach, the body of which is perfect and worn beautifully, but the strap stitching came undone after years of wear. The others have all been Jansport backpacks. Hopefully, this will wear well. I bought a somewhat smaller Heshe bag (dubbed on Amazon as "Heshe Leather Shoulder Bag Womens Tote Top Handle Handbags Cross Body Bags for Office Lady" :)) that I would basically say the same about. I sort of prefer that small amount of difference in size and the shape of this smaller bag, but the strap isn't quite as long so it wears higher than I really like. Also it's too small for my 13" computer - it'd never fit in there with all my regular stuff I carry anyway, but the opening won't allow it to go in anyway. I was pretty sure this would be the case when I ordered it, so I can't complain. The only thing I really don't love about it is that the zippered opening isn't the full width of the bag (as compared to the other) so it makes it a little harder to get everything in, just a little. If I were to keep just one bag, it would be the one for this review, but not (so far anyhow) because of any lack on the part of the smaller bag, manufacture, quality, etc., only due to my personal use. My rating is based on having it for a little over a week and I don't that much call to really put it through its paces due to working from home, COVID, etc. Will update if necessary. ... show more

Update: I am having a really hard time with this bag. It is heavy and the crossbody strap is super long! Even at the farthest hole it is too long. There is no small loop to hold the excess length in place either so it just flops around. As much as I wanted to love this bag I think it is going back and I am back to square one in my search for the perfect wine red bag:( I really, really like the color and size of this purse. After many - and I mean MANY - tries I landed on this bag by Heshe. I would have given it 5 Stars but held back because of two things, the first being the material on the inside of the purse. It is really weird and crinkly feeling and sounding. I may get used to it, I don't know, we shall see. The second thing I wish it had is at least one outside zippered pocket...I would really love two:) This is my second Heshe bag. My first, a smooth black leather one is still in rotation and is several years old. It still looks amazing and I expect this one to hold up just as well. ... show more
