I purchased this great bag in black about 8 mos. ago, and so pleased, I just ordered the same in brown. The bag can fit all my stuff including a good sized book, my gigantic sunglasses case, and "all of the rest of it," = } quite easily. I have a couple of decent sized brown handbags which I like quite a bit, but have had it with trying to cram in the book, (etc.). Enough! Giving myself a break, and ordered this bag in brown too. The "brown" version is like a cognac color, with black accents to detail; looks rich, so handsome. Well worth the price; spacious without being bucket-like into which one must dig, top zippers close left, right, or in the center. This is a very nice soft cowhide leather purse. It has gold-toned haware and zippers work smoothly. It has one large slip pocket in the middle and 2 zippered pockets. The bottom has metal feet to protect the leather. It measures13.38''L * 5.7W'' * 9.4''H. It has 2 handles on the top as well as an adjustable shoulder strap. This satchel is not real big so if you're looking for a larger purse, this might not be the one, but if you're looking for a stylish bag, this is nice. I just wasn't a fan of the handles not being long enough so I didn't have to use the shoulder strap. ... show more

This is the best bag I have ever bought especially for the price. It’s the perfect size in between medium and large, more towards medium.
