I wanted a smaller crossbody purse for a few summer functions and selected the Herschel Alder Crossbody in Leopard Print. The bag is sturdy, the print playful and distinct, the zippers work well and the bag itself is lightweight. The simple divider inside proved to not provide enough organization for me, but since this is declared in the description, that is on me. The one thing that bothered me about the bag was the strap. It has this funky end with a loop that kept getting in the way of things. Ultimately, while I did use the bag for the functions I purchased it for, I have since put it aside. The strap simply doesn't work for me. So I took off one star due to the strange strap. However, I like the Herschel brand overall and will likely buy more of their products in the future. ... show more

Used this on a backpacking trip. I needed a crossbody bag that can be easily folded and put in my backpack when not in use. After researching many options, I purchased this product. It looks cute. It is surprising how much I can fit in there. It is made with good quality material. It also seems water resistant since my stuff (including paper) was perfectly fine in there even after heavy rain. BUT the strap is so annoying. It would not stay put inside the little loop, so you end up having this strap all over the place. It is kind of like a bra strap that would constantly slip off and need adjusting. It sucks. I would return it if I could, but now I just have to deal with it and see how I can improve it. ... show more

Love this purse! It is lightweight, durable, and easy to carry. I purchased the rose color which goes great with my spring and summer clothes. I can easily fit my large wallet, phone, purse hairbrush, pens, Kleenex pack, sunglasses, and lipstick. That being said, I bought it for $32 a few weeks ago. I bought this handbag because I was looking for something that wasn't super girly. I carry a Herschel laptop bag for work, and this bag coordinates with it nicely. I've been impressed with the quality of Herschel bags- I work on a number of construction sites, and this gray crosshatch fabric hides dirt and is tough.
